The gasket worked quite well, but wasn't as wide as they said, without distortion by stretching. It worked just fine, though.

First off what is pictured is not Grapho-Glas 93. What I received is really Grapho-Glas 93. See included photos. This is the absolute best glass window gasket I have ever used on my pellet stove. My stove calls for 5/8" tape but I find that 11/16" gives better edge roll adhesion and a better visual appearance. It is braided so that the edges are @3/16" thick separated by a center channel of @1/8". This is the glass to frame surface. The glass/adhesion surface is flat and has excellent adhesion. There is no need to "stretch" this around the glass like regular flat gaskets (there is not really that much stretch to it). The center channel allows the edges to fold and stick to the glass in an almost self-centering manner and is very uniform. Finally it is thicker than 1/8" tape gasket would be at this point but makes for a very tight seal and the braiding allow for very trim and square ends.

This gasket is 1/2", 9/16" at best. 2" of the gasket end were frayed and had only a little adhesive (I needed the entire 54"). Being too narrow and the last couple inches being trash, I had to throw this piece of junk into the trash. And of course, waste my money. I should have returned as soon as I noted the frayed end.

Gas fireplace seal was leaking resulting on soot on the mantle. Installed this over the existing seal. Totally eliminated the leakage problem. Easy to install.

Needing to replace the door glass on my gas insert fireplace, which requires ceramic glass due to the high heat, I wanted to replace the gasket as well. I had a difficult time finding what I needed, although I called several fireplace specialists.One call to Rutland and the problem was solved. I've purchased other versions of this gasket for my stove and the adhesive on this brand is very good. No issues with the gasket lifting or peeling away from the glass after several fires. Will update if there are any issues in the future.

This gasket was super easy to install. This a flat gasket used between the glass and the door, not the round one that you need between the door and stove. The glue on one side allowed me to to install it with a much neater finished look than the original that was installed by the stove's manufacturer.
