This gasket has turned my stove into a valuable item again. I now use 1/4 off the wood as I did. I can load it up and rest 12 hours or more and find coals…..before 4 hours was the norm . I didn't realize how much the little gasket could do. Mounted easily and after 2 weeks is great. I'd replace it every year if I needed to but this product seems made of strong material

the gaskets work great but the glue is a little suspect. I've had to go back and redo the glue in different locations, even after following the instructions to the letter.

I actually used this product to fill a heat break gap in the brick on a wood-fired oven - works great! The gap varied in width in several places. This material is able to expand to fit a wider gap - or to be packed tightly in a narrow gap. It was the perfect solution for my needs!I have now fired the oven a number of times (very, very hot) and this material is holding up very well.

I've used this on my Harman P68m pellet stove after an unsuccessful purchase of an H@#$ De@#$ item. It went in perfectly using the Rutland Stave Gasket Cement Black. Makes a great seal and my stove no longer leaks smoke into the home. I purchased another for my ash box and installed that too.One suggestion for installation, place a newspaper between the newly installed gasket and the stove, wait 24 hrs for a cure and then remove the paper and fire up your stove.

Changing the gasket again... what a pain in the ass. Well this gasket works about as well as any other and seems decent quality.

We used this gasket to replace a torn one on our woodburning furnace. It was long enough with some braid left over. It forms a good seal and looks durable. We glued it on with the Rutland Stove Gasket Cement cartridge with no problems.

These gaskets worked great as door seals on my vertical smoker. I did not have the "shedding" problems as others had. No issues at all. I installed with Permatex Copper sealant.

Used it to improve isolation in my oven door and it worked perfectly.Once its glued its holding and insulating perfectly

This gasket works great on our woodstove . We used a high heat sealent we purchased at CT .Putting it on was easy , so far no problem with it coming off as our last one did from another manufacturer.
