I always use cloth napkins for every meal, every day. That means I want pretty AND practical; no hours of ironing for me! I changed decor colors and needed napkins to go with a new tablecloth I love, but finding the right color, wrinkle resistance, weight, and feel was challenging. I ordered them in dark taupe and they check off all the boxes for me. The pictures show the napkins after a regular machine wash and tumble dry, and I’m showing the worst example of wrinkling in the bunch. They could use an iron touch-up but are perfectly presentable as is. The size is good, the hemming is neat and even, they feel substantial but not stiff or slippery, and they retained their shape well. Plus, they have a OEKO-TEX MADE IN GREEN label. Time will tell, but for now they get five stars from me.

Cost effective and luxurious. I had the idea to cut down on disposable napkins and use cloth to save money and dine in luxury. These napkins are beautiful and serve my purpose. They are easy to clean and enjoy with each meal. They are soft and durable and love the colors.

Napkins were stiffer than I expected but since I plan on folding flower shapes this could be a plus. Once I wash them maybe they will soften. It could be the liquid sizing often sprayed on fabrics during manufacturing. Color was exactly as shown in photo.

The dusky blue color is perfect! I used this at a luncheon I hosted last week and they looked very nice!. I also like the thickness.

They wash great. They have been washed twice and they did not shrink. The edges stayed nice and did not curl. They would look better after the wash with a quick iron but I just put them in my napkin holders and they looked fine.

These napkins were okay. I don’t like the material, I should have gotten cotton. They feel weird, but they do the job. They wrinkle a lot, so I had to iron them. They also don’t fold well, as the sides are uneven. They look nice sitting out, but I wouldn’t buy them again.

These napkins are a good size, wash well and if either laid flat for use with napkin rings or folded directly from the dryer, no ironing is required.

I grew up in a family of six and we used paper towels as napkins for meals. My husband, an only child, insists on using large IKEA napkins for everything. Subsequently, we throw out a large volume of serviette paper. I snapped one day when I thought of how much longer I will be with my husband and therefore, how much serviette paper is going to end up as landfill or best case scenario, as maybe compost.I decided on these cotton napkins because of the price point and pattern/colour: inoffensive and can be appropriate for many occasions. It is a smooth kind of cotton, almost like the ones in casual restaurants that don't seem to absorb the water your toddler purposely spilled. But I think that's par for the course, as far as napkins go. I do put them in the dryer after a wash and they also iron nicely (there's a global pandemic happening and ironing a square piece of cloth is strangely soothing).We still break out the IKEA napkins on occasion, but use these ones most of the time.
