We remodeled and had an older Kohler cast iron deep laundry sink that was not going to look good without replacing it. Found this at literally half the price. It really looks great. Metal is thick enough that I don't think it will get dented. Dampening keeps it from clunking when you put something in it. I chose to top mount on a Corian counter top. I was a bit surprised that the perimeter of the sink does not have a flat sealing surface (just a 90 degree edge onto the counter so that only maybe 1/16" sits against the countertop) but it worked out fine. Just filled the inside edge with RTV, clamped it down, and then wiped away the RTV with denatured alcohol.The faucet hole is well reinforced from the underside so it does not move or flex even with a tall faucet. I did have a bit of trouble with the mounting clips in the back. If you follow the template, you might find it hard to get the clips to grab properly. I had to add a block of wood behind the clips and then it worked for me.

You'll be amazed at the effort they put into packaging this sink so it shows up in perfect condition. Excellent workmanship at every possible turn, includes all the necessary parts to make a good installation. The only nit I have is the clamps aren't the easiest to install in a tight cabinet. I spent a lot of time getting them in position and more time getting them tightened down without bowing the C in the clamp. Once that was done, the rest was a cake walk, and the sink is simply stunning compared to the plastic one it replaced. It isn't as deep as the previous plastic unit, but I can fit a 5 gallon bucket in the sink and fill it with water easily. The protective grid in the bottom is awesome for cleaning kid's muddy shoes without scratching the brushed stainless surface, and the strainer basket is great for keeping big stuff from clogging the drain. All in all, I'd buy another in a heartbeat.

I ordered this sink for my laundry room to match the sister sink I bought for my kitchen due to the satisfaction I had with the kitchen sink. Unfortunately the sizing was not appropriate for the space which necessitated a return. It is a heavy sink, so I needed some assistance to make the return which took more effort than I expected, but did happen.The quality of these sinks is unbeatable. They are functional but so beautiful too.

This is the perfect sink! Sturdy, stylish, beautifully fabricated and excellent extras (in sink rack). I installed it myself , along with a new countertop at the same time; no special tools beyond my usual box full, and minimal help from a partner . 5 stars all around, except: the paper template used for marking an appropriate opening on the counter top is not actual the size of the sink itself. To be fair, the instructions are specific and precise about the need to measure the sink, trim the template accordingly, and then marking for the cut- but why not simply create the exact template to begin with. Added just a few minutes to the overall project time, and well worth the added complication. We are just wishing we were in a position to install a second one in another place in our home. Highly recommend this product.

This stainless steel utily sink is by far he best sink you will ever purchase. Packaging reminded me of a cell phone vs. a sink in a box. Ordered a competitive sink and it ws packed in corrugated box with little to no protection. Of course it was damaged. Sent it back and instead of reordering it I kept looking and found the Ruvati sink. My lucky day. Extremely happy with the construction, the sound proofing, the basin rack, drain adapter, stopper, and instructions. I would highly recommend this sink to anyone looking for a great looking and very funcional utility room sink.

The sink itself is pretty good. The size is great and it appears to be very sturdy. However, a sink isn't any good if you can't get it installed.It took me several hours to manage to get 6 of the 8 mounting clips installed. I have previously installed stainless sinks from other manufacturers and their mounting was easy. The mounting clips on this sink are very poorly designed. 1) they are barely long enough to work with our quartz countertop 2) the clips have barbs on the surface that touches the underside of the countertop so it appears that they were designed for a wood surface. The barbs did not engage the quartz top and tended to slide around as the screws were tightened 3) the clips are flimsy and bent as they were tightened and almost slipped off 4) the part of the clip that attaches to the sink has to slide into a notch on the sink. The notch is small and impossible to see so you have to "guess" where it goes. It would be much better if there was a guide built into the sink.Now onto the sink itself. The space for the faucet mechanism is far too narrow. I imagine the designer did this to allow more room in the sink basin. The issue is that it was almost impossible to get the nut up onto the faucet because the space was so tight. After several attempts over a couple of hours, I finally got the faucet attached.Other stainless sinks that I have installed had a solid metal drain. This sink uses a plastic drain with a very thin metal ring. The item is so flimsy that when I accidentally dropped it 3' to the floor it bent the assembly. The nut that attaches the drain to the sink is plastic and it was "stuck" to the plastic body of the drain. It took quite a while to get the nut off so that the drain could be installed and even longer to get the nut back on, it kept wanting to cross three. To add insult to injury the drain did not even come with the nut to attach a tailpiece. I almost gave up and went to the hardware store to buy a replacement drain assembly but I stuck with it and finally got it installed and watertight.I would gladly have returned this sink because of the design issues but since our brand new quartz counter-top had been cut specifically for it I had no choice but to waste an entire day and a couple of trips to the hardware store to get it installed. I will not be purchasing this brand in the future.

This sink with its extra heavy thick stainless is absolutely bomb proof. Beautiful clean crisp edges, packaging was overkill, just like everything else on this sink. Would buy again and again!
