Utilize the Installation Tool: Insert the installation tool through the insect screen, maneuvering it into the center of the spring while ensuring that the tool's groove captures the crossbeam of the spring. 6. Finalize Installation: Gently remove the installation tool from the insect screen to complete the process.

Dauber screens keep the bugs out of your appliances. They are a MUST!Your RV manufacturer and appliance manufacturers have decided to claim these will harm your appliances in order to be able to deny warranty claims. That is pure BS. They claim the screens block too much air and restrict airflow. WTF? Measure the total area and see. They are domed to provide EXTRA space for air. There is way more open airspace over the entire domed area than the small hole they cover. Just big brother trying to get out of paying a claim. However, they also deny your claim if they see evidence of insect intrusion. Act of god crap. They can't be responsible. Yeah, more BS.Use the screens - keep the bugs out. That is real. They can cause a lot of harm. But, if you have to take your RV to the dealer, remove them before you get there. Put them back on once you get it back. Simple! These are small round ones that fit water heaters. Check your RV to see what you need for furnace/refrigerator as well, then buy those (likely rectangular) too!Source: I am a certified RV inspector and a certified RV repair technician.

One little insect can cause so many problems in a vent. These screens protect against that. They do need to stay on while your vehicle is traveling down the road though. Most covers I see use two hooks, these stayed on fine through our first trip with just the one. Though they are not easy to attach, would prefer two hooks so that there is a back-up if something goes awry. Still, it is better to have covers with one hook than no covers at all. One can always look for an additional hook.

These are a must have to protect your RV or camper furnace from damage from pests and mud dubbers. Much better than a big repair bill and installs in a few minutes with the included tool. With these you won't be surprised on you next trip and have your heater not working. Been there. Thanks

I got these vent covers to install onto my RV heater vents. These covers were super easy to install and only took me about 10 minutes. I like that these covers have a little rubber gasket around the edges which helps keep it in place. I also like that the rubber gasket was easy to install and fits well. This kit is really great because it came with a string and tool to help install these covers onto my vents. These covers have been working very well on my RV and really helping keeps the bugs out of my RV.

I ordered this vent guard for my motorhome furnace vent. It is a complete kit that includes two vent guards with springs, an installation tool and rubber seals. I've installed this type of guard before so I knew it would take some dexterity with the spring, but it was easy with the installation tool. This is a necessary item for any RV to keep insects out of the furnace vent. For less than $10, this can prevent a serious issue.

The springs being as tight as they are is good so they won't fall off but it made installation difficult.

Got this to keep wasps, etc., out of coming into the camper through the outdoor openings. This kit has all you need to install the insect screens on two openings. I read the instructions thoroughly two times but I still struggled to install the first one. After I figured out exactly what I did on the first one, the second one was easier. The screens are a nice weight and will be very sturdy. The springs that hold the screen on the pipe opening are small and tight.

The screens came well protected and love the tool to assist with getting these things connected.
