Needed to replace a broken barrel catch in an older travel trailer. I tried just replacing the metal prongs first as that is what was broken, but the molded plastic catch of the older one didn't fit right in the prongs. So I replaced both the metal prongs and plastic catch and now it works perfect. Comes with screws and easy to install, just mount the plastic catch first. Then place a screw in the hole in the prongs and snap it onto the plastic catch. The screw will stay in place as you close the door and the screw will leave a small hole imprint in the wood. Drill a small pilot hole, or just apply good force while screwing the prongs to the door side using the imprinted hole marking you made previously.

I like that this product was available after many years. It was used as a replacement for our plastic broken bracket which was thirty nine years old. The product was a perfect fit. There is nothing I disliked.

Took a little bit of searching to find. Maybe it’s not as widely used in kitchen cabinetry.But it’s the exact product I needed, installed easily and my cabinet was back in place in minutes.
