The RV Step Stabilizer Kit is a straightforward and user-friendly product, featuring a standard scissor jack that operates smoothly and can be raised to a height of 12.5 inches. It comes with a wrench for manual raising and lowering, as well as a 1/4†adapter that allows for easy use with a standard drill or screwdriver, both of which function as intended. The kit also includes 2 machine screws and nuts for secure attachment to a step. Weighing 4 pounds 1 ounce, the jack is relatively lightweight and has a compact design, with closed dimensions of 15†x 2.5†x 3â€, and mounting surfaces of 13.7†x 1.2†on top and 4.75†x 2.5†on the bottom. This versatility and ease of use make it suitable for various tasks, such as lifting the center of a queen-sized bed to facilitate the placement of support blocks under the box springs, which can be accomplished with ease.

Would be better if the base was wider, on concert or flat pavement works fine.

Poor quality of materials. Tried to use; too small then it cracked.

Yes, this is what you think it is. And it works very well to do what they are selling it to do. After trying other step stabilizers that have predetermined holes that you rarely get set just right, I can say that I like this type of stabilizer much better. I had one of these on one set of steps for our camper to see if we liked them. Now I have them on both.It is infinitely adjustable through its min to max distance. So you do not need to have a spacer to try to get the length just right when you need it between those predetermined holes of the other type. The only thing that I think would be better with these is a larger ground contact plate that also pivots a bit to adopt to a sloped surface contact. The drill adapter makes it very easy to extend/retract this. Which is again much easier than the legs with holes and pins. Once the camper is level, it only takes seconds to run this thing down and your steps are stabilized as well. Many campers have stabilizer jacks that use the same drill adapter. So you likely already have the drill in your hands or close by. You may need to adjust them if you are camping on soft ground as the foot of this may sink a little after the steps have been used a few times. But that will be true with any such device and the wing that is right at the screw/nut is pretty easy to turn by hand. So you can likely make any small adjustments as needed without the need of any tool. That said, I would suggest (and plan to my self) keep that screw greased to prevent rust and keep it operating smoothly.I like this and would recommend it. With any luck, the manufacture will offer an option with a larger ground plate that will also pivot for that sloped camping spot that you WILL be on from time to time.

No more limp step. We all know it's a common problem, especially with age, but now you have an option to go from limp to strong with just a little effort. It even includes a ratcheting tool for self erection of the stabilizer. You can go up and down all day and all night after using this and it stays firmly expanded. Go ahead, come and go all you want, this won't disappoint.

This is easy to install. It is a basic scissor jack but with a flat top. It could be used to jack up or stabilize any number of things. This review is for the product listed as, “LCGAOYA RV Step Stabilizer Kit, Suitable for 5th Wheels RV, Travel Trailers, RV Step, Camper Step, Adjustable Height, Foldable and Easy to Install."
