These fit nice and snug into the vent openings and hold in place. The foil top helps reflect heat out during the summer. It feels like a memory foam type material inside.

We have an RV with two traditional 14"x14" crank up top vent covers. The traditional vent covers have no insulation (platic covers only). We previously discovered that we lose quite a bit of cooling/heating due to lack of insulation on these two vent covers. We saw this item and thought they would come in handy. We found that the two vent insulators we received were of decent quality and construction. The insulators could be tucked into our vent spaces as insulation and even came with some adhesive velcro strips to better affix the insulators. The insulators can easily be affixed or removed as needed. Overall we are very happy with this item and will carry them in our RV since they are flexible and store away nicely.

My cats destroyed the one I had in the skylight of my fifth wheel bedroom. That was about two inches thick. When I ordered these, I was expecting the same but these are barely over 1 inch thick.

Used to Insulate 14 x14 RV Roof Vents and they expanded in a few hours and have been in place for weeks now without any Velcro needed. Really makes a difference when the weather is extreme hot / or cold.

I was looking for a solution to cover skylights in a mobile home and these are perfect! Summer here can be brutal but these do a fantastic job blocking the sun and heat. They are well made, exact to the size and come with storage bags. Don't hesitate!

The thick foam and snug fit inside a standard RV vent enclosure ensures good insulation. Installation is as simple as pushing the vent insulator up into the enclosure. It is sized to provide a snug fit even when accommodating the vent crank handle or thermostatic controls that are typical inside vent enclosures. I have used it camping in overnight temps below 40 F and it does provide good protection from cold. I have not used them in hot weather but expect them to perform equally well with the reflective surface on one side to reflect the sun’s heat. Each insulator comes with a nice storage bag to keep them clean and protected when not is use.
