Very pleased with this item. The slides drop in easily and eject easily. Even a "fat" or "bent" slide mount should not get stuck at all. The LED light is bright and is so much better than just using a light box for viewing because the magnification lens makes it easy for even an older person to sort through and see the images that they want to have scanned and printed. The slot to view uncut film or a typical cut strip of 5 or so images is nice for negative viewing. Of course the viewer dos NOT convert negs to positives but you can at least determine what condition they are (like what areas are scratched etc) and see the overall subject matter. A big plus for this viewer is that it came with the 4 AA batteries used to power the unit. It did come with a power cable but this item does not include the power adapter, which is ok with me. Odds are the extra price of the AC/DC power adapter would have made this unit cost more than i needed.

I had an old color positive slide the order that did not work very well. This one was a nice upgrade after you see a picture. The button slide balls into a little tray is a good price nice upgrade the screen slightly magnifier the picture.

Product performs just as advertised. Love that it is small and compact so you can use anywhere. I recommend you remove the batteries if not used for any length of time. My old one the batteries went bad and linked out damaging the unit. I highly recommend this product.

A bit awkward to load & remove slides one-by-one, but a cheap & simple way to review slides or show them to someone else. Batteries seem to last well.
