I had the old One + model and took the leap. I’m glad I did. This is a major upgrade. Out of the box I plugged in a 4Ah battery and slipped in a 18†long 1†diameter SDS plus masonry bit and quickly punched a 1†hole in a 16†thick (solid) brick wall. This thing is a beast and will challenge a corded hammer drill. No cord = a winner every time.

Removed 4x7x9 subway tile and backer board for shower remodel...could not have done it without my Ryobi!Worked long hours and the power and weight were superb.battery life was more than I expected.Fantastic product!

I have lots of ryobi batteries, so I have lots of ryobi tools. I bought this to drill a ton of holes in concrete. In the past, I'd go through lots of bits to do this and, well, I dreaded it. This time, I bought this device and holy moly, what a great tool! I did the holes in record time, the drill did the work, and I used one bit that was still cutting beautifully when I finished. Just a great experience! thanks ryobi!

Ryobi has done it again. For its light weight it packs a punch. Drilling anchor holes in a concrete slab is a job made so much easier with the right tool. Thank you Ryobi.

Works as good as my corded de Walt hammer drill same size. But battery powered. Very convenient for tight areas in crawl spaces
