Easy to use, does what its designed to do and in short order on wood, metal nails. Saw this tool at another place $100 what I paid here on amazon, couldn't pass it up, my Chicago Tool Sawzall died (even replaced brushes). Ryobi ONE+ products work great for home projects, less expensive than the other name brands and grab the bargains when you can.

My non brushless recip saw broke after using it for several years. So I bought this one for 60.00. Absolutely worth every dollar and it works great. I had to cut 20+ tops from my 4x4 posts for my fencing and it performed well. Doesn't seem to be eating batteries as much as the brushed model I had previously...

I used this to cut steel reo steel temporary fences wood plywood... very useful tool to have on jobsite. But breaks down very easily.steel a bit weak .yes will recommend this.leave expensive sabre saw at home...use cheap one when doing demolition.

Bought this to replace the previous version when the motor, or gearbox, seized up. Runs longer than the previous design and has several other improvements that make it feel more heavy duty. It is also noticeably heavier but in a good way. The trigger could be a little better because is seems to always want to run full speed. It's a little hard to use it on a slow speed for precision cuts.

The saw works well but it did get in a bind and stopped while cutting nails between boards on a wood pallet. The friction between the two boards it was cutting between was high enough to stop the blade. For open cutting a piece of wood, it works well.I like the longer stroke than the two cheaper Ryobis.

My sawzall did not last long the blade release broke and the switch variable speed work intermittently i purchased it in May and figured i had a ryobi 3 year warranty wrong ryobi will not warranty it cause I purchased it from Amazon so I have 125 dollar piece of junk . So buyer be ware. I want to make it clear Ryobi will not warranty 3rd party sales from Amazon. Amazon refunded my purchase to a gift card. I give 5 stars to Amazon

I have been a fan of ryobi for quite some time, I own tools from most of the major brands, Milwaukee, makita, dewalt, metabo, etc. I have had some issues in the past with Ryobi tools on occasion, they just did not stand up to certain jobs that the other players handled well. With the launch of the New HP lineup, Ryobi has not only caught up the major players in the market, but has surpassed them in some cases. The ryobi platform has a huge base of tools, and now the key tools are up to the level of the key players, it makes a lot of sense to move in their direction. Ryobi green is my new job site color.
