A tool I didn't know I needed until I bought it the Ryobi Power Ratchet is a surprisingly useful tool.Unlike so many other makes and models where the battery's tend to be small and with low voltage, the Ryobi Power Ratchet uses the same 18V battery as all the other Ryobi tools I own which saves me time and money.At first I thought having a large battery would make the tool heavy and awkward but in use it is virtually unnoticed. The power head rotation makes getting into those tight spaces and nuts can be started manually then powered off when necessary. The operating lever is conveniently located and can be locked in the off position.Overall I'm impressed with the overall design and ease of use.

I bought this tool based on a recommendation from a YouTube creator and so far have been very impressed with it. I have about 5 other Ryobi cordless tools and all of them have been great also.

I recently performed a timing chain replacement on my Mazda CX-7. Lots of bolts needed to be removed and reinstalled and this thing did a very good job of it. I've been using Ryobi tools for over 20 years and have only had one problem in all this time. This ratchet is great, but it has a few minor drawbacks. One, is that the rotation selector is hard to grasp because it's small and in a pocket. Not a big deal. The other thing is that when the 18V battery pack is attached, the unit is a bit cumbersome and not useful in tight spots. Otherwise I think it's going to be right at home with all my other Ryobi tools.

I don't know what kind of sorcery they used to build this but, it worked. I was confounded because I could hold the bit and stop the socket with my hand. But, I put it on a rusty old nut, and it took it off no problem. It could definitely be stronger but, I know that these aren't made for industrial use. These are made to make things quicker for you. Therefore, I will give it 5-stars. If there is a tough nut or bolt, use a manual ratchet or even an impact. If you have a tighter spot that you can only get a 1/4 turn on a 4 inch bolt that's already broke loose, this is the way to go. Just push the button and let it work.

One of my favourite and most used tools in my shop good quality light not tethered to a air line and if you pre fire it will remove almost any bolt just be careful if it’s rusted or you’ll have to break out the extractors really impressed for the price can’t go wrong with this tool
