This is my third pressure washer. I have a large gasoline powered one, a plug-in AC electric one and then this. Each one has its own advantages. The large gas powered one, of course is good for incredibly hard, stubborn, stains, sidewalks, etc. The middle one is good for cleaning things like windows, sidewalks and washing my car. This Ryobi one is incredibly convenient and quick and can easily wash the car that has been sitting out in the dust or recently covered in pollen.Do not expect it to do your driveway because it just isn’t that powerful. It’s probably twice as strong as a really good hose spray nozzle. But if you want something to quickly do windows wash your car, spray your boat down at the lake etc. you can’t go wrong with this.

This sprayer is amazing! Don’t get me wrong, it’s not a pressure washer by any stretch of the imagination, but as a general purpose cleaner, it does it’s job great. I bought it to clean my truck. My condo association doesn’t have spigots outside so this is my only way to get water flowing. Drawing from a 5 gal bucket, it works like a charm. Sips water on “rinse†and the battery life is fantastic. Couldn’t be happier. Build quality is sufficient, and the value for money is unparalleled. Couldn’t recommend enough.

This seemed like a great idea —- far easier to set up and use than a full-sized pressure washer; not anything you’d use for heavy-duty all-day work like cleaning a multi-car driveway, but good price-point for occasional light-to-medium duty use, like cleaning patio floor splatters from around a grill. Very Ryobi-like idea. Unfortunately… the water feed is a PVC plastic male side of a quick-connect coupling, and it sheers off after a short period of careful use whether using a plastic or metal matching female coupling. It worked to wash a car, but failed trying to clean around the grill; I replaced that broken one (the part isn’t replaceable) but the same thing happened again, even when aware of the need to be very cautious moving it with a hose attached. Bottom line: great idea, unworkable implementation (at least in this iteration).

This will not replace a traditional pressure washer, but it will do light jobs nicely. Great for washing cars or cleaning. Not powerful enough to do your deck or remove paint but it’s portable and I can’t say enough great things about ryobi. I have this at my camper and love it. Washes the awning and patio furniture with ease. Would recommend.

The power washer is only a little bit more powerful than a standard garden hose with a nozzle on it. But the portability is nice and the price is quite reasonable.

extremely useful for applying large volumes of weed killer or insecticide over large areas. Also good for cleaning. it will happily spray absolutely anything you mix up in a bucket and do it with authority.

If you have a power washer already, this won't be a like for like replacement. You'll miss the performance of mains water and electricity. But, if you don't have power and water to connect up to, this is a very well thought through kit to do the business.It is less powerful but washing and cleaning can be done effectively, and I didn't find leaks with the hoselock connector, it didn't break and my one (connector) appears to be metal/alloy so should last longer than earlier plastic ones.

Trigger got stuck and now it doesn't do anything at all. Wasn't very powerful when it was working. Very weak. Okay for small jobs. Like pressure washing of hot wheels car or something smaller.

Delighted with the product UNTIL Itried to register it on RYOBI warranty site. I bought 2 batteries and a charger which was accepted but the machine had a label and reference tat the system refused. I contacte RYOBI who told me that the unit had been supplied by Amazon Seattle therefore they would not guarantee it. They said anything imported is not covered by their warranty. I asked why the batteries that I had bought that were imported from China, exactly the same as the machine, were ok for warranty. They had no answer for that. Amazon customer services spent about an hour chasing up RYOBI but in the end they had to give up. RYOBI advertise a 3 year warranty, BUY K'ARCHER products instead. Trading Standards are now involved and hopefully they will get a response. After many messages in private as requested by RYOBI they have not changed their position, they totally refuse to place any warranty on their power washer. They said that I should contact Amazon for them to take up the issue with the Amercan despatch point. They obviously did not read my messages in full as Amazon did so for over an hour on my behalf. If you live in the Highlands and Islands where RYOBI refuse to deliver be careful ordering from Amazon as they could source your product from America and you will then have no warranty. RYOBIs attitude STINKS. Amazon were so very helpful, I have no argument with them as they were not aware of the RYOBI stance.
