More than happy with this purchase. I wanted to wait until have actually had it some time and see how it hold up. And almost 2 months in working 6 days every week, I am rather impressed. I bought 100ft and the rigorous it has been through an, the heat the terrain the climate. Sometime it is subjected to misuse and the material and texture prove to hold up. Let's see if I can get an entire year from it. Then I'll come back with addition info.

The hose is good quality but it’s not slick so it doesn’t slide across the grass easily. The connections are good quality as well. Hopefully it will become slick in time. I replaced a grey good year hose because it a developed after 10years. I couldn’t find the same so I thought I would get this one. We will see but I doubt I will get 10 years out of it. This one is a good value when you take in consideration the fittings.

One week after installing. we found a pinhole leak. Apparently there was a slight kink in the hose and the pinhole formed where the hose folded. Luckily its close to the end that connects to the pump and we can trim it off. We have added pvc piping to correct the angle the hose connects, making it more straight.

I use this for my sump pump in my basement and it discharges a lot of water in an effective way. I recommend it.

This is a quality setup. The burlap sack is kind of cheap, but it allows for water to drain.Will update this review if I find rust anywhere.

There is one thing, and one thing only that, in my opinion, makes this hose a 3 star product and a PIA to work with. The texture of the material used for this hose is incredibly grippy. I’ve never seen anything like it. It wants to grab onto everything, including grass. Consequently, instead of taking 5 minutes to roll this thing up it takes 20. So, if you’re thinking of purchasing this hose you may be prudent to look at buying a flat hose reel as well.
