These adjustable arms were a breeze to install on my chair, and they seem to be of very good quality. I've been using them for a few weeks now with my new chair, and I have no complaints. The height is easy to adjust, and the arm rests are reasonably wide and comfortable (I'm a 150 lb woman) and are well-placed for sitting at my raised desk using my keyboard and mouse.

Does what it's supposed to do - makes the counter chair / work table chair more comfortable. Seems sturdy enough for home office or home workshop use; don't know about the rigors of a commercial establishment. Easy to install, good adjustment range.

I got these arm rests for my Safco Metro adjustable height chair. My husband had no problem putting them on the chair. The arm rests are pretty comfortable for a hard plastic arm rest, and I would have given a 5 star rating but for 1 thing - while the arm rests are adjustable up and down, they don't have a lot of room for adjusting them so they are farther or closer to the chair itself. I'm a large person when skin and bones, but now that I have a bit of middle age weight on me, I find it difficult to fit onto chairs that have arms too close in on the seat. I'm handicapped and my scooter has arms that adjust, I see no reason the arms for this chair couldn't have been designed to adjust out-word as well as up and down. I would not have even put them on the chair, but they make it much easier for me to get into the chair. Still, even with them just as they are they are still far enough from my chair seat for me to just barely be able to use them without too much discomfort. They were also pretty well made and not flimsy, which most things seem to be these days. If width from the seat isn't an issue, I'd highly recommend these arms to go with the matching Safco Metro chair. The chair I purchased separately and reviewed separately.

These are a great addition to this chair and I suggest that you just go ahead and buy them when you buy the chair. They are very easy to install while you assemble the chair. I like that the height is adjustable. They make a difference when you spend a long time in the chair.

Very comfortable and sturdy, but should have been included with the chair. A must have in my opinion.-------- UPDATE 2 YEARS AFTER ----The arms rest still work, but plastic parts inside are very squeaky now, to the point that I took them off because they make too much noise during my calls from the office. I am reducing the STAR rating to 3.

Arrived promptly, solid packaging,no damage. Works nicely for my purpose of sit/stand for 8 hours/day. The chair drifts down slightly when sitting at first, but then holds. Chair is comfortable - no sagging buttocks to cause backaches....pleased with purchase - good value for the money.

the seat padding does not last do not buy it thinking it will last 1+ years with 5hours+ a day of sitting. It would be nice if in the advertising it would mention the expected life of the cushion and the type/name of cushion material.

I bought these to go along with a Safeco chair I ordered. They are sturdy, easy to attach to the chair, and I love the fact that you can adjust the height on them. Glad I spent the extra money to get them.
