is more useful than i thought with the chair that goes with it. easy to adjust. major difficulty was finding a 1/2 inch wrench to tighten the 8 bolts. the bolts took a long time to tighter because the preformed holes are quite long, and the chair is quite heavy to flip to get to the bolt positions. but it was easy to assemble overall .

This is a must-buy add-on for the chair. Given that most office chairs are for people people 250lbs, this item is very useful for the accompanying chair. I bought it for my direct reports as there is a variety of weights. The arms adjust well and work with the accompanying chair quite nicely.It's definitely the most cost effective option I've found on any office furniture pages. Usually you have to buy the big puffy executive style chairs for larger individuals. But this chair has minimal footprint for what you get.

These need to adjust much, much higher. I'm a short, round woman (only 5'5") and even at their highest setting, these arms barely come up above my thighs. They're nowhere near high enough above the seat to actually function as armrests. I'd hate to think how worthless they are for someone 6ft tall.

Be warned:- These arm rests are of low quality.- The shape of the hard plastic is very uncomfortable.- They are noisy since the plastic that slides over the metal supports is lose and not a firm fit.- They are extremely short, even on the highest setting they are barely above the seat, making them more of a visual accessory rather than functional.- They are much narrow than expected. It's not a huge issue, but makes extended periods of sitting uncomfortable.

Was not as easy to install as they claimed. Screw threads in the seat were difficult to align with the screws for the arms.

Time will ultimately tell how well these hold up. But for being brand new, these arm pads are 100% improvement over the hard plastic arm rests on my work chair. They fit snug over a the chair's 10" arm rests. Made of nice plush micro fiber tops over foam inserts.

We do not think the quality of these arm rests match the chair and they do not adjust at the right height four our chair.. Unfortunately even though we are amazon prime members this seller is making us pay the shipping costs to Return and these arm rests are so heavy it will cost us a lot to this. It seems unfair to not discount return shipping for a product we cannot use after we also just ordered their brand new Safco chair.. very unhappy.
