Kit came with easy to follow instructions. No tools required. Rubber mallet optional. I did not need the mallet. Took my time reading the instructions and putting it together. Took me about 25 minutes to assemble. Holds five 27 gallon totes with ease. Very sturdy.

These are great for closet storage of tubs. I have 4 of these for basement storage and can get to everything easily. They fit perfectly for the Black/yellow tubs from Cost Co. I thought all tubs were same size and bought some from Menards and they were a bit too small for this rack. Easy to put together. I like that they would disassemble and store easily if I ever wanted to move. It is best to put the heaviest tubs on the bottom which helps stabilize them a bit.

I love the very idea of a space saving tote rack. Unfortunately, the issue I'm having with this particular product is after using the continuously suggested 27 gallon tote, the tote keeps falling. The space given for the tote to slide through seems fine but after checking the sturdiness it falls right through. I had to use zip ties on the tote to the rack to stop the tote from falling over and over again.
