Used it for my portable washer machine Used on big end at end of my shower hose. Little end to fill my washer. Works wonders. Would be nice to have a spare thumb screw clamp to come with it.

I had a drain installed in my basement that goes right into the drain pipe. I was never able to connect my dehumidifier to it because I did not have an electrical outlet close enough and the owner's manual said an extension cord should not be used with this appliance. I am so glad I found this hose. Now the dehumidifier can stay in its original place by the outlet and I can run this extended hose to the drain pipe. Problem solved. This is a perfect solution.

Plastic hoses with seams don't usually hold up but since the drain water isn't under pressure or subject to much shock I'm hopeful it will last. But at the moment it's a 5 star unit for one simple reason, the thumbscrew clamp. Such a simple thing that makes a clamp 10x easier to install but this is the first time I've encountered one. The end where the clamp will go is a much more flexible rubber/plastic than the hose itself so it will probably not be an early failure point.

While this is marketed as a dehumidifier drain hose, I actually ordered it to use as a replacement filler hose for my Portable Compact Mini Twin Tub Washing Machine. I had lost the the spring clamp that holds the hose to the sink faucet, and had to stand there and hold the hose on the faucet until the tub was full, which is not hard, but it is a pain in the posterior. When I saw this, it looked to be the same size as my machines filler hose, and it came with a key-adjustable hose clamp, but the clamp wasn't needed for my use, as it turns out. The large end of the hose fit my faucet adapter perfectly and the small end fit the water inlet on the machine perfectly. Even with the cold water turned on full blast, the hose remained attached to the faucet, and there was absolutely zero leakage anywhere.I did save my old hose, and the hose clamp that came with this hose, in case this one should fail at some point, just to be safe, you know.So, even thought I am not using as it was intended or marketed for, I still have to give it 5 stars.

I was skeptical of this dehumidifier drain house when I first compared it to using a standard garden hose. Although you’ll read that .75†is the standard to connect to “most†humidifiers, the ones I was looking at listed at .625. This hose gives you both options. Just cut if you need the thinner width, as I did. Another plus: The clamps are a much better solution compared with a standard hose fitting and plumber’s tap. Great value and at 13 ft., plenty long.
