Use it to extend the short dehumidifier pipe. 3/4" diameter is actually 5/8", which matches the short pipe come with the dehumidifer.

I stripped the threads on the back of my portable air conditioner's drain pipe that you attach a 3/4 in hose too. This fits on perfectly over the drain pipe and doesn’t leak. It was a good price and seems durable. Hopefully this will last a long time.

We have a dehumidifier we got on amazon in our basement and the hose is a dinky little plastic one that looks like a straw that are in those big to go mugs. Anyway it is too short so we thought maybe this would solve that problem. This hose doesnt fit though, it is too big and a clamp wont help us. I guess our dehumidifier doesnt have a standard drain hose but maybe if yours does this would work.

I keep a larger-sized dehumidifier in my storage building, but the drain hose was starting to get old.This is a 6.5-foot flexible clear drain hose with a rubber adapter and an easy-to-use clamp to make sure there are no leaks.It fits my humidifier perfectly, and it's nice and flexible if you need to angle it; mine goes through a window and then down. I like that it's see-through, so you can take a glance at it to see if it gets clogged.Overall, I think it's good quality, it works like it should, and it's a good price.

The plastic is a bit see-through and on the images, it looks very rigid. And it's a bit misleading in depicting the actual product!
