After feeling like a little kid at the adult dinner table while working at my desk only to realize that my chair's piston had died, I found this fix and it is perfect.I think most of us adjust our chairs once and leave them at that height permanently, which is what happens when using this product - the chair height is set and cannot be adjusted. The rings come in different lengths there are many (15) different heights a chair can be set at, so at least one will be the right height.Installing took me literally seconds. Once the chair's piston is at the length needed for the height you want it's easy to just measure the piston arm (silver part, usually) and find the right combination of rings for what's needed. Putting the rings on the piston arm is very fast and easy and that's all ther is to it!The bottom line is that this product allowed me to continue using my existing office chair rather than replacing it or at least its piston, and saved me a lot of money that way. I very much recommend it.

My office chair hydraulic system died and I was going to have to buy a new chair. We looked to see if we could fix the hydraulic system but saw these clamps instead. I don’t need to change the height on my chair so using the clamps to set the chair at my preferred height was simple and effective. No need for a new chair! Easy to use! Totally recommend this product.

It is easy to install, and works well. I’m a lighter guy though so it’s possible for heavier people that it might break, as other comments have pointed out, but I have not tested it. It does not grab onto the cylinder and keep it from moving down by grip force alone, it moves freely, but it is intended for you to use as many as you need to put it at the right height and acts as a solid bridge between the bottom of the cylinder and the bottom of the chair. I have read that the products that clamp onto the cylinder will eventually sink, so this is the best solution for my problem. Only thing I would recommend though is making it out of a stronger material like metal or wood.

I was so tired of my chair slowly going down and didn’t want to spend the money to replace a good chair. These are a great fix to my issue. The material is good quality and they fit perfectly on my chair. The multiple sizes allowed me to customize the height I wanted. So far, they work great and I couldn’t be happier, for this inexpensive fix. Great design!

Office Chair Hero spacers are great. I have a new office chair with an intact pneumatic cylinder. However, because I swivel side to side to work on my two sewing machines, the height setting doesn’t seem to hold and my chair sinks down frequently. This is aggravating. These little plastic spacers work great and the different sizes allow you to customize it to your chair. They were also easy to install even for a 70 year old like me! I highly recommend this product.

The four adapters contained all I needed to clamp around the bad piston of the chair. Since I use the chair at full height- I needed three of the adapters to get the proper extension. I had to cut off the three decorative covers over the piston but the adapters covered the piston and is not noticeable. I am able to fully recline and swivel without the seat dropping down to the bottom again. Great fix for the price. Installation was easy but did require a pair of pliers to squeeze together and lock. Took longer to cut the plastic decorative covers than to install the adapters. Very pleased !!

These worked perfectly and were easy to install. They were easy to take on and off to adjust the size until it was the perfect height and I don’t have to worry about my chair falling down anymore.

This product should honestly come as a standard package with any chair. After two years, my chair started sinking randomly, so I decided to try this out—and I’m very satisfied! My sons computer chair wouldn't stay raised up, the pump would just slowly lower the chair by itself all the time, and and I thought I had to buy a new chair for him. But I found these and they work amazingly to keep his chair up!! I used 3 of them on his chair and it's been a perfect affordable solution to a chair that won't stay raised up anymore. 使用しているGTARACINGのゲーミングチェア(GT002-BLUE)が下がるために購入。取り付け方法ですが、ガスシリンダの周りにカバーを付けている場合は取り外しが必要です。GTARACINGのガスシリンダ周囲のカバーは取り外せないため、最下段まで下げてそこの上に取り付けるようにしています（カバーの隙間から取り付けは難しい感じ）GT002-BLUEの場合だと、ストッパー４つのうち、１番長いもの＋２番目に長いもの＋１番短いものの組み合わせるで、椅子の一番高い位置から5mm程度下の範囲の長さになるためちょうど良い感じです。難点としては取り外しの際に若干外れにくい点です。マイナスドライバーで穴にいれて軽く押すと外れますが、短いサイズだとなかなか取りづらいです。また、若干高さを見て取り付けたい場合は取り付け前にシリンダについた油等を除去しておくことをオススメします。
