This product is soft and easy to tear apart for my cat's treat. Unfortunately, my Niko is so picky that he has turned his nose up to it so far. I'll try it again and if he doesn't eat them, I will save them for my next cat we're getting this summer.

I wasn't really sure how my kitty would like the texture since it's a meat stick, and cats can be finicky as we all know. He was intrigued as soon I broke off one of the pouches from the strip, and he was even more excited when he smelled it.The sticks come in a strip of five pouches, and the pouches are easy to separate and open. The sticks are scored so that you can easily break off a bite sized piece, and the serving size is one treat which I assume means an entire stick since the pouches aren't resealable.The texture is somewhat soft as far as meat sticks are concerned, and my kitty had no problem chewing it and swallowing it. When we finished the pouch, he was looking for more which was a definite sign that he enjoyed his snack.As far as ingredients go, it contains chicken, pork, and beef; it does however contain salmon and trout by-products. It also contains a few key vitamins and supplements, so it seems to be fairly healthy. Each treat stick contains 28.0% crude protein and 16.0% crude fat, and the calorie count is 17 kcal. The product is made in Austria, so I was a little disappointed that it isn't a product of the USA. With that being said, it still seems to be a quality snack for the kitties.
