Review of ”SAMDEW 10 & 12 Inch Chainsaw Carry Case Compatible with EGO Power+...":(Please refer to my reviewing guidelines at the bottom of the page).I ordered this case for my Dewalt 20v chain saw that currently has a 12" bar and it fits with a lot of room to spare. In fact, I've been thinking about upgrading to a 16" bar because the Dewalt 20v motor has so much power and I've measured and confirmed that there is 4.5" to spare in the case for the 4" longer bar including scabbard.There are handy pockets inside and outside of the case for all the accessories that a chain saw needs for proper use and maintenance. It's manufactured with a very good heavy duty canvas material and all of the seams, stitching, and zippers are very well done and should hold up well to the abuse it will receive outdoors. The hard bottom and waterproof liner are also great features for outdoor use.I've searched the internet for the Samdew brand and have discovered that they manufacture many other types of canvas bags and cases. Canvas is their specialty which makes sense because I've done some market research on Amazon and the Samdew brand also appears to be competitively priced and well rated in each canvas product type that they manufacture for.During my research I've discovered chain saw bags of this type/size selling from $26 to $66. Though this bag is priced about in the middle I'll bet it's much closer to, if not exceeding, the quality of the $66 bag.My responsibility as an Amazon Vine Reviewer:Considering the Amazon rules/regulations for being a Vine Member It is obvious that it is very important to Amazon that the person doing the review has indeed inspected, tested, used the product as well as being aware of the competitive situation of the market segment. I like that it has pockets for gloves, tools, extra chains, etc. Fabric seems sturdy, and my saw fits nicely. I like that there is an outer pocket for a quart of bar oil. My biggest concern is bar oil leaking from the saw inside the bag and/or dirt and grime from the saw itself making a mess inside the bag. I’ll just have to pack a heavy brush so I can make sure to clean the saw well before stowing it away.

Some time ago, I purchased from Amazon a bag made by Samdew for my Mr. Heater Big Buddy propane heater. That bag was very well made and it fit my heater and its accessories very well. I was truly impressed by the product. It was exceptionally well constructed and a great value. I was so impressed that I bought a second one when the last Amazon Prime Day specials came about last year. Needless to say, I have been impressed with Samdew products.I have recently purchased a new DeWALT 20V MAX battery powered 12-inch chainsaw and wanted to get a case to transport and store that saw and its accessories. When I found that Samdew also made cases for chainsaws, I investigated and found that they indeed made one suitable for my needs. It was received today.I am very impressed with this case. The bag is made of high-quality materials, the seams are straight and well sewn, the intersections of the panels are perpendicular with proper 90° angles, not puckered, or off-kilter, and there were no threads left poking out of finished seams. The zippers are heavy-duty, properly installed, and double-zippers are utilized. The various pockets are well constructed and properly sized for this type of application. I very much appreciate that the bottom of the bag has a water-proof vinyl layer to prevent the bottom of the case from absorbing water and becoming water-soaked in wet environments. I also appreciate that a reinforcement panel was provided to strengthen the bottom of the bag’s main compartment. That panel is padded to help to ensure that no damage will occur to expensive equipment. There is a strap incorporated into the main compartment of the case to hold the saw in its designated position. This case has compartments for the storage of batteries, bar oil, tools, spare parts, and personal safety equipment. I was surprised to find a special compartment added to the underside of the zippered top of the main compartment. That is a great use of available space. The case has a set of strong hand-carry straps and strap with buckles that can be used for over-the-shoulder carry.The case arrived neatly folded, compressed, and sealed in a plastic bag for shipping. I have unfolded the case and am allowing the material to relax so that I can start moving my equipment into this bag. I am very happy with this bag. It is another well-executed product from Samdew.
