Okay, I’m one of those ‘Tree-Huggers’, but, for me, I think this Product's Packaging & this Product are Eco-Friendly.* First - These are very Sturdy, Heavy-Weight Sheet Protectors. If I am going to use sheet Protectors then I want one that will last a long time & won’t end up in the Dump, with all the other non-recyclable plastic, any time soon.* Second - They Arrived in a Solidly constructed, Reusable box – Good for storage, or shipping. The Sheet Protectors were Divided into groupings of one hundred by just a 1/2 sized piece of cardboard, that can be repurposed for craft projects, etc. There was no “Waste of Resources’ extraneous packaging to send to the Dump : )I also Want to Save Money wherever possible, so I don’t want to buy junk that doesn’t last & will need replacing. For me, $34 for 500 - Very Sturdy, Heavy-Weight, Non-Glare, Easy to Load, Sheet Protectors – is a Really Good Deal. They will last a good long time.I always keep my recipes in Sheet Protectors in a binder - I just take out the recipe I want & the Sheet Protector makes sure it stays clean. Over the past few years, I have been putting together binders with a bunch of my best recipes, along with a lot of empty Sheet Protectors as a Bridal Shower. The first time I did this I was surprised that everyone else wanted one for their shower.I have several nieces/nephews who are getting married, or moving into their own home, this summer.So, in preparation for the up-coming events, I bought a bunch of binders, which are now loaded & ready with these really sturdy Sheet Protectors.It is so much easier & quicker to load Sheet Protectors into a binder at one time when they come from one source since the all the holes aligned. And, since these were divided into groups of 100 I decided that was a good number to put into each binder. I also give these binders to some friends I share recipes with, especially in the summer with so many cook-outs. After being asked for a copy of the recipe for whatever dish I brought, I now go prepared. I now bring a couple of copies of the recipe in a sheet protector. I usually bring at least one ready 'loaded' binder with me.There is an added bonus, for me, in using the Non-glare Protectors. The Finish/Surface doesn’t show all the miscellaneous marks, scratches, folds, indentations, etc. as the regular Protective sheets so it will last longer. Sometimes l make a note on one of the recipe pages with the Protector sheet under the paper & the writing will show through on the protector directly below the paper as well as the top surface of the Protector sheet below.ALL-IN-ALL GREAT PRODUCT!

I ordered these sheet protectors mostly because I like my recipes to stay protected while I am cooking. I just keep adding more recipes I want to make. We use them for many other things too. They are what I would call a medium weight. Not flimsy, but not stiff either. They are easy to out a sheet or two of paper in and do not split or tear. They came in a big box and were in good shape. Works great for my regular sized three ring binders. I got a lot so I’m good for a few years. lol. I’m really happy with the quality. And I’m glad I chose this brand. They didn’t disappoint.

Love these protector sheet. I have used thousands of them in compiling Ancestry Books, Recipe books, Poetry books and filing pages in binder for documents (easy find). Makes for a very professional looking project. Durable perfect fit every time

I've gone through many different brands of sheet protectors, looking for the ones with the perfect balance of price, durability, gloss/matte, and clarity. With this purchase, Samsill is now my favorite choice. I ordered a 200 count box of clear heavy weights.Gloss: As you can see from my photos, the sheets are not blindingly glossy yet they are still crystal clear (I hate sheet protectors that have a "foggy" look). I find these ideal for both photos and text documents.Branding: The branding is extremely discreet, with the Samsill logo printed in white on the side. It is almost invisible.Durability: Though I have only used them for 1 day so far, the sheets feel like they actually ARE heavy weight and durable. They are top-loading and the sides do not stick together when you are trying to open them.Condition: I took one star off due to the damaged condition that my box arrived in, which seems to be fairly common based on these reviews. A corner of my box was crushed and ripped open, and nearly half of my sheet protectors were bent/crumpled (see photos). Since I needed them immediately, I don't have time to go through a return process, but I am putting the worst sheets under a heavy book in hopes that they will flatten out.

This is a re-order of these Samsill 200 pack Heavy Duty Sheet protectors. I’m impressed with the Crystal clarity, quality - especially around the durable 3-ring holes of each sheet ( not one of the ring holes have torn from the FIRST order of a box I purchased 3 years ago) - and the thickness of the sheets. These protectors have a top opening that I like. We use them for protecting important forms and I use a lot of these transparent sheets to keep my cross-stitching patterns protected, easily visible and organized in my 3-ring binders.

These are supposed to be heavyweight sheet protectors but they are not much better than the budget ones I bought previously. I believe the 3.3 MIL part may be around the ring binder holes! The sheets do not stand up under their own weight and they were already wavy/bunched up when I received them. They are also difficult to open to insert items - especially if you're trying to do so with one hand while carefully holding that item in your other hand. If/when I buy any more sheet protectors, it will have to be in-person.

Gave it 2 stars when compared to Gemex, solely on ease of use. They will do the job, they have some leeway on the narrow part, but for some design reason regular paper doesn't easily slide in, which ruins my experience / fun / impression. The previous batch I ordered (from Gemex) were flimsier in comparison but at least the overall experience was not a struggle. Bottom line: I don't foresee myself reordering this product.

Unfortunately, these sheet protectors arrived with the first 22 having creases in them. It is from the way they were laying in the box. In my opinion, these are not heavy duty. I was expecting a much thicker protector.
