Want to be sure I can find this product again so easiest way is to make sure I do this review. In this age of electronic recording, some of us still like to put paper on own but carry what may look like a notepad in a classic looking binder. My husband and I always had a folio of sorts but it's been the typical manila-folder look. Enter Amazon research and found this.It holds a 5x7 pad and has pockets a s slots to carry cards or double as a wallet. My husband has the old fashioned business cards so this folio came in handy for that.Sturdy, classic style, useful, useable. It's more than old fashioned note taking folio.

This is a very elegant and professional looking notepad cover! The notepad fits perfectly and the pen loop works well. Most of the time I just leave my pen in the spine area and zip the cover closed.The manufacturer's pictures of this product are spot on and pretty much tell the story. A slip pocket on one side and a business card sleeve on the bottom. It has great presence and a rich, classy look and I think it would be at home in a ton of environments- business, legal, medical etc.I haven't used it enough to speak to durability but it seems well made.Recommended.

Overall this portfolio is well made. I use it to travel from meeting to meeting and take notes without having to care a bunch of individual things (notepad, pen, phone) It is sturdy (if not a little stiff) and looks nice. There is plenty of room for my 6plus although it does not tuck in the pocket like I was hoping. The problem is the pen holder. For some reason they chose to put the pen holder next to the zipper. In the picture it looked fine, but in reality it drives me nuts because the pen gets caught in the zipper every time I try to close it. So I have to zip it half way, tuck the pen in, zip it a little more, tuck in the holder, and then zip it the rest of the way. I realize it is not the end of the world but it is just one of those things that annoys me every time I use it. And it is completely unnecessary since there is a ton of space on the inside spine that would completely avoid this. I may just look into super gluing a pen holder into the spine.
