I am in charge of a fire station and we delayed replacing our toilet paper dispenser for quite some time (years). I broke down and purchased this dispenser. It was a match for the one being replaced. It installed very easy. It has been in use for a few months now and is holding up well. The guys at the firehouse really appreciate a working dispenser. It does tend to grab the roll when you get down to not much tissue left. I figure it will loosen up over time. We are happy with it.

I'm bummed that this item didn't work as advertised. I purchased this item with hopes that it would help my PreK students waste less paper when they use the potty. Unfortunately, this does nothing but slightly slow the pull of the roll. It does not unroll a few squares and "lock" as it says in the product's description. Also, it doesn't come with screws or mounts, so if you purchase this item be sure to have those items handy. I will be returning this item.

I liked that this single roll dispenser style is still available. What I don't like is that the picture doesn't match what I received. I purchased this product because it shows a dispenser without the tensioners. What I received is the same as in other items featured with pictures including the tensioner. The tensioners press against the roll (on both sides) and cause the TP to rip after one or two squares, or jam the roll where get any is a mini-project...

I love the locking mechanism which is exactly what I have been looking for. It’s sturdy and the size is perfect for what we needed. However, I gave it four stars because of how difficult it can be to have a steady flow of toilet paper at times. Maybe there is a way to adjust it, but there was no instructions on how to do it in the package.
