Very solid grinder with excellent machining. The grind is fluffier than my other grinders which I like. The larger holes let the material fall through before it's too fine. With occasional cleanings, it should last a lifetime. I really like that it's made in the USA. You can get a good imported grinder a lot cheaper but I'll enjoy using this one for many years to come. So for me, it's worth the premium. I prefer having a collection space rather than a kief catcher so the 3 piece is perfect for me and the large one is the perfect size for me also! Just be aware of what you are purchasing so your needs are met. The large is quite heavy so it makes a good paperweight too.

I bought this for my husband for Christmas, and he absolutely loves it! The circumference of the grinder is large and deep and it grinds beautifully!

This is my second Santa Cruz Shedder grinder. They chop up *everything* into a nice fluffy pile, ready to use. Even if you put in items that are a bit moist & sticky, it never binds up like some other grinders do. Highly recommended.

If use weed then this a must!! Others suck!! It is built so well!! I used mine so much decided to get 2 in diff colors, one for indica and one for sativia. Haha The bigger it is, the easier it is to twist too! :)

*Editing my review to add that recently I was contacted by the seller, and sent another. I think that's great customer service so I will change my review from 1* to 5*.I know I have been grinding up some sticky buds but this thing delivered here December 1 and December 28 I can't get it apart. I grinded up some buds and can't get it out. Super frustrating!

Never had a grinder like it, worth the price for the quality and efficiency of the grind. The sharpest teeth on the market. Makes my set look fresh as it can.

The large grinder gives more torque to allow for an easier grind. The parts fut well together and the bowl is heavy. Some other reviews noted chips, but both orders came in flawless for me.I prefer this over any manual or electric grinder I've used.So good I bought a second for a friend.
