WHAT IS IT?

HOW DOES IT WORK?
Operates by Siphon: two containers = seek same liquid level
Simple. Tree absorbs MORE water and there's MORE water available to the tree.
1. Place Candy Cane into an unfilled or near-empty Tree Stand.
2. Remove lancet from tubing and punch two holes one inch apart into water filled gallon jug lid.
3. Insert tubing through the 2nd hole using the lancet until the tube end is resting on the bottom of the jug.
4. Squeeze Jug with hands for 5 seconds while holding finger on cap hole
5. Automatic watering is started. Swap with fresh jug(s) every 2-5 days.
Hide by placing into or underneath a decorative object (e.g Gift Bag, Gift Box - NOT INCLUDED). Automatic Watering will continue indefinitely by swapping emptied with filled jugs. Add Prolong to each fresh gallon jug.

This was pretty easy to set up & worked great. Just have to keep an eye on the water level if you hide the jug in a gift bag. My tree drank faster than I expected & almost got too low once. Was easier to have one person squeeze while another person covers the hole to initiate.

I was super excited to find a tool so I didn’t have to water my own tree every day! I knew this year I would buy something to make watering the tree easier and I planned on buying some sort of funnel, but this is even easier because I don’t have to check my water level either! The only negative thing is that it’s kinda expensive for what it is, but I knew that when I bought it. You can DIY for cheap but I am glad it came with instructions.

The video showing installation of this product shows a nice flexible and soft hose. The one that actually ships with the unit is a much cheaper, thinner plastic tube, and it's coiled so tightly that it acts like a spring. The end of the tube won't go to the bottom of a 1 gallon water jug, and the candy cane end is so springy that it constantly pops out of the tree stand unless wedged in there tightly. Didn't even get a single usage out of it. Complete piece of crap! Don't waste your money on this scam!

Only had one close call where the water started flowing over the top. This works on a siphon basis, it's not clear to me what makes it stop drawing water. It seemed to work fine most of the time, but I was constantly double checking it. It seems to stop drawing before the water holder (gallon milk bottle) was completely empty. When it's completely full, it's not clear it will stop - as indeed it didn't once. In my opinion can't be trusted. I used it by not having more water in it than I think the tree would drink overnight.

It was easy to set up and it works well, you just have to watch to make sure the jug of water doesn't get too low.

This thing is really cool! I usually struggle to keep our tree watered. This is an awesome idea. Sometimes it didn't seem like it was working quite right. I had to use a new jug of water when the water got too low (it would stop working once the jug got to about 3/4 empty eventhough the tube was to the bottom). So u may have to keep an eye on it to make sure it's working right but so much easier than trying to water it any other way.
