Have not had any issues with this device "MIAOERJING SATA to USB 3.0 Cable, USB to SATA III Hard Drive Adapter". It has been working since I received it 24/7 without any issues.

Would not recognize the drive at all, good thing I bought 2 different ones at the same time. The Clavoop one worked perfectly, and I sent this one back for a refund.

Outstanding price for the function. It worked right out of the shipping package. I lost my other one, and this one was better because it USB 3.0 and cost less than my 2.0 one. I had a pile of HD to sort through and I was done with the pile right away.

This little guy worked just fine for about six months, but all of the sudden, it's not reading the SSD anymore and the "access" light does not light up. I tested it in my actual larger PC using SATA connections and it recognizes it immediately, so it's obviously the adapter's fault. Wish this lasted longer than it did, but it's cheap enough to buy another.
