Fairly easy to assemble, everything lined up well. Pieces came out of box with dings and dents in them, some minor but some pretty noticeable.

The hutch and desk from Sauder it real nice. Nice stuff to put in the hutch with all shelves. So you could decorate them. Part is like a bookcase. Love that in the desk about the middle drawer. a power strip to connect the computer to. The drawer arte just the right size for letter size folder. I would tell people this a great investment.

To Sauder's credit they were very quick to ship pieces damaged in shipment. The hutch fits the associated credenza well but there are a couple of trim pieces that, to my mind, are not well designed. E.g. the lower front trim strips, if installed as indicated in the instructions make the open more than an inch narrower than they could be.This required that I modify the construction slightly to fit my needs. But then, I didn't have to build the whole thing from scratch . . .

This is a very nice addition to the matching desk. Took a little time to assemble, but worth the effort. A few blemishes from shipping, but all were hidden after assembly. Seems all large, heavy items have a rough ride to their destination. Would buy again, but carefully inspect when unpacking.

Just a correction on the colour. The title says it is brown and it does look brown in the first picture but it is classic cherry like it says in the description. The whole Heritage Hill line was only made in Cherry. When it arrived it was a beautiful cherry colour that matches exactly with my Heritage Hill desk and bookcases.
