I was pleasantly surprised by this product. It was very easy to put together and looks beautiful. It actually was a bit smaller than I thought but it fits more blankets and towels than you would expect! Delivery was also much quicker than it had quoted. Great product!!

Starting off with what i didnt like about this product, i bought it to be used as a toy chest for my toddler and the corners are sharp which is not huge because i know it was not specifically made for children so i will use corner bumpers. Also, as stated in some other comments the bottom of the chest is somewhat raised so you dont have as much room but there is still quite a bit of room my son fits alot of toys in there. Also the color is quite a bit darker than in the pictures, it didnt match my sons bedframe, but it stilll looks fine together, as i also ordered the matching chest drawers for his clothing. Now the good part, it is extremely sturdy just as i would expect from this brand(sauder) and the color is very very nice, it looks expensive. My chest came very well packaged and nothing was damaged. My husband put it together in less than an hour. The very best part in my opinion which it does not state in the advertisement is that it has a springy device that does not let it slam on my toddlers fingers, and makes it really easy to open.

At first we were a bit intimidated. After laying out all the parts and reading the directions it came together in no time. It is exactly the color and style we hoped for and it took us just over an hour to assemble with no “do overs.†Very pleased

Bought the storage chest, the wide bureau and the short bookshelf for our 5 y.o. boy. The bookshelf was a little scratched, the bureau had a huge dent in the top horizontal part (the most important part), AND the chest has a big chunk taken out of the outside of the lid. Had to order replacement parts for both pieces. I am sure that UPS shares some blame here, but perhaps Sauder should either pad the boxes better or not put the most important pieces on the bottom. Overall, its clever and better made than Ikea, but for the damage.

Not solid wood but it is good quality for the price and was easily assembled in less than an hour. I did end up taking the lid off because my 1 year old would still slam it.

This is very well made in the USA ! It is not as big as it looks. The bottom part is way off the floor. Maybe 3â€. The other thing I don’t like is the bottom part is only supported by three sides . Putting something heavy inside might not be good. I might have to reinforce that other long side . It doesn’t make sense that the bottom would be weak but it is!

Relatively easy to put together if you take your time and put the pieces in their correct orientation before screwing it together. The interior bin is more shallow than it appears it would be from the photo. It seems pretty sturdy but the lid is not recommended for sitting on - weight limit of 70 lbs - so no adults, maybe children. I use it to put my sleeping pillows away for the day and 3 pillows fit well. It was sent by Canada Post and it is overweight for home delivery so expect to pick it up from a postal depot.
