Needed a smaller one for work for city ordinances. Works great. Our city ordinance books are 3 copies and about 50 per book. It's a little bit of a tight fit initially but good.

I use this for work, and I'm hard on my tools. This has a right spring clip that hasn't softened, and the compartment latch still snaps shut firmly after a few months of daily constant use.

Bargain for a good citation book holder.Scratches easily.Not made with the top quality material as some but still functions fine.Would purchase this item again.

I'm an ADA Parking Enforcement Volunteer empowered to to issue tickets. This iorm holder is the perfect hand-held "desk" to easily complete a citation. Well-sprung toothed spring clip holds ticket book securely with no slippage. Stnadard citation books are 9.5" x 3.75", leaving just enough side margin to serve as a rest for your writing hand.Clever bottom-hinged aluminum panel provides a rigid writing surface when bearing down to produce a fully legibile ticket (carbonless 2nd page).Weather-protected back compartment safely stores completed citations.Sadly, a 1 star reduction because the hinge pins have a tendenacy to work their way out of the hinges. This could have been prevented in manufacture by "flaring" the ends of each pin. My Plan B is a drop of Loctite in each hinge-end.

Altho mine said it was new it definitely was not considering it had tickets in it from California. Other than that. Great product does exactly what its designed to do

Overall product is good. I am a LEO in Michigan and it is just a little too short to hold a standard citation book. Works if you pull out eat citation individually though. It's a little thin and kinda light weight, but good for the price point.
