This storage clipboard works great. The other clipboards that I've tried have all been 1.5-2 inches thick, which is often overkill. This one is a slim 1/2 inch thick. This is enough to keep the important stuff locked away and safe, without having to drag around a bulky clipboard. The clasp at the top works well - it's easy to open and drop something inside without having to worry that the entire contents is going to fall out. The top clip works great, too. It can hold a standard pad of paper.

This slim metal storage clipboard is functional but not the best quality. It holds a notebook and provides storage inside, but the metal edges are sharp, making it uncomfortable to open and close, especially if it comes into contact with bare skin. The metal is also quite thin, giving it a flimsy feel—it seems like it could bend easily or even break if dropped or if something heavy was placed on it.I ordered this for my son, who enjoys sketching, thinking it would be a convenient way for him to carry paper and pencils while having a sturdy surface to draw on. While it should still serve that purpose, it feels a bit clunky. I think this clipboard might be better suited for a salesperson needing to write up invoices on the outside and store paperwork inside.

This is a very nice metal clipboard that has a compartment attached to the back to store blank forms or other papers. It’s a smooth surface for writing and lightweight as well. The corners are rounded off so no chance of the metal being sharp there. There’s a small lever on the clip to pen it, and it swings out of the way when not in use. This will get a lot of use filling out forms like taxes, letter writing, drawing, etc. Nice to have handy instead of looking for a flat surface upon which to write.

Nice clipboard with the hinge at the bottom (opens downward). Storage space inside for paperwork, pencils, etc.
