These are ALWAYS the best. I have tried other manufacturers from time to time, but keep coming back to Saunders. Made in USA. Perfect fit, exacting construction, great, even finish, (not that it matter within a few shots, hehe,) always well oiled and never arrives rusted. And, the steel holds up well.For the price, these simply can't be beat.Tip: They will stay on your woods much better once the oil coating has been removed from the inside. Simply soak briefly in a small tupperware of hot soapy H2O and scrub out the inside with a few Q-tips. Then I hold each point in a pair of rubber handled pliers over a torch, bunsen-burner or candle etc...Heat it up briefly until the water fully evaporates, like 5 seconds max. Allow to cool and then rough up the INSIDE with some rolled-up fine grade sand paper. If you look for it, there are sellers that offer a special wire brush drill bit that is purposed just for this! I've yet to lose a point!

The points from Saunders and sold by Amazon are good - come in boxes of 12, cleanly machined, and weigh in at no more than 1 grain difference.The points from "another seller" - came in a zip lock bag and are of questionable manufacture. They are 3mm shorter than the Saunders and weigh in at about 3-4 grains difference amongst the 4 dozen I got. They also have a fatter tip with more obtusely angled points. But they clean up and glue on just fine, seem to be made of the 12L14 steel as the Saunders.I needed a batch of points in a hurry so didn't return them and so far they work fine going through the kind of targets I shoot.If you want pedigree Saunders get it from Amazon, if you don't care then either supplier work fine.

These are splendid field points. I picked up a dozen to use for repairing some of my current arrow which are 5/16th. They fit without issue, I had no problem gluing them on, and I find that the slightly longer length on the point seems to secure the points a little better and make removal from targets a little easier. They are a little more weighty than what I had been using and find that my arrow trajectory is much more stable.

As far as arrow points, they work well, unfortunately, most taper tools don't work because of the length of the tube. Would of been nice if they had used standard field tip sizes. You have to chisel more off the end after tapering, which can sometimes result in uneven installation.

Product itself is very solid and nice. But no instructions for how to install. I had to sandpapered to narrow point to fit it. And put a epoxy glue to make it firm. And to my son's bow with 15lb, arrow can not go straight because it so heavy and not straightly installed and when you pulled it out from taget it stucks.
