This is a very delicate part (tiny tabs which snap into the upper water distribution tray) so I searched Amazon and found the Aprilaire manufactured part, not a knockoff. I ordered the "12/pk" which means "12 items per package." Down below in the detailed description it says "Quantity: 1" which means there will be ONE package/box shipped to the purchaser. When it arrived, there were not 12 items in the package. Only one. I contacted the seller who apologized for the error, and he refunded the entire cost ($27.00) to me. That was a very gracious gesture. However, the Amazon description STILL says "12/pk," which is incorrect and misleading, even though the seller has changed. So, is the error the responsibility of Amazon or of the seller? (Both sellers). I don't know. I appreciate the refund. The part is a perfect fit from the manufacturer.

Replaced the original control insert after seven years of service.This scale control insert is an OEM version of the original.Product fit well and is serving its intended purchase.Overall a good value for the price paid.Before ordering ensure that this is the correct model for your whole house humidifier.

Perfect replacement part for my Aprilaire humidifier. A relief because the old one was encrusted with hard water deposits. Very pleased!

Works great. Same material as orginal. No bending or triming to fit slid right in. Can't go wrong here if you have to have one buy it here.

This is a replacement for one that was showing damage from the UV sanitizing system on the furnace. They will eventually get brittle. Fits and works perfectly and a MUCH better price than the big box home stores!
