These are fine grapefruit spoons. I liked that they came quickly and I were priced right. I didn't have to drive all over the city to find grapefruit spoons.

I've never had a grapefruit until a couple of months ago. It was at that time I discovered you really can't eat it without the special grapefruit spoon. As a total grapefruit novice, I don't really know what constitutes a great spoon and a bad one. All I know is that these worked perfectly. I guess you could maybe find a nicer quality - but it works and doesn't bend when slicing out the fruit. Not sure what more I would want? And, I wouldn't be horrified if a houseguest used it, so they're not that terrible.Works as advertised!

Spoons are OK and may get the job done if I can ever get the glue of the large Made in China sticker rhat is placed on the back of the working part of the spoon. I have these for a day and have soaked and scrubbed and they are still soaking wuth a heavy coating of glue that'll will not come off. I see rhat this complaint is posted often hete for nearly two years now..FIX IT.Based on this stubborn glue I would not buy again and DO NOT RECOMMEND.I will return if I cannot get glue off later today. .

these look like they are kind of thick and sturdy with the flat bottom- so they would match my flatware. That is why I ordered them and was willing to pay 10-11 bucks for four spoons. They are very thin metal- which is fine because eating grapefruit isn't carving stone, but they don't seem to be worth the cost. They are not the same style as in the picture and have a completely plain, curved bottom. They also each came with their very own barcode sticker stuck to the back of the spoon part, and they won't come off. I'm going to have to buy goo gone to remove them.They WERE delivered a day early though!

They do the work, but the ones I receive do not have the sharp point as the picture. I have been using them for 5 months now, and even putting in the dish washer seems to be fine. But don't expect great quality.

I got my purchase yesterday. I noticed on an earlier review that the labels were difficult to remove. I ordered the spoons anyway. That review was correct, the bar code labels are tough to remove. I have had issues with labels on other items in the past and this is the method that I use. I heat the spoon on the opposite side of the label with a hair dryer until the adhesive softens. This takes about 45 seconds. Once the adhesive softens, the label usually lifts easily without tearing. If the adhesive comes up with the label all you need to do is wash the spoon and you are ready to go. If adhesive residue is left on the spoon spread a little peanut butter on it and wipe with a paper towel. The oils will dissolve what is left and the you can just wash the spoon. I usually use WD-40 for this step but since these are utensils, peanut butter is safer. As far as the spoons go, they look good, have a nice finish. They are a bit thinner than I expected but do the job. I hope this review helps.

These are very functional, they are slim-line and sharp so that you can eat your grapefruit without all the pre-cutting. I would recommend these.

Unlike the picture in this set of four, only one spoon has serrated edges. I noticed I'm not the only one who received a set like this. All of the spoons have a pointed tip, but the three that lack serrated edges are inferior. Given the price, I won't return because of the hassle. Some people have complained about the stickers which are difficult to remove--Just soak in hot water for a few minutes, then peel off. The gummy residue will be easily removed with acetone or nail polish remover. But save yourself the hassle and buy different set!
