  • OEM Clutch Replacement Kits: Our LuK LFW101 flywheels suit a huge variety of vehicles! The flywheel is an integral part of your clutch replacement.
  • Replacement Flywheel: Today’s tightly packaged clutch systems leave little room for error. The clearance between the disc damper and the flywheel-to-crankshaft bolt heads is so small that the flywheel must be replaced with every clutch installation.
  • OEM Flywheel: As an original-equipment supplier, LuK develops the performance specifications for individual vehicle applications. Each OEM part is carefully crafted to suit the exact needs of a car, keeping in mind its year, brand and make!
  • LuK Flywheel: Designed as bolt-in replacements, LuK RepSet and solid flywheel options provide increased torque capacity and many feature clutches with a larger diameter than the original clutch they replace.
  • OEM Flywheel Replacement: Each component is engineered and manufactured for flawless performance and each LuK Flywheel is 100% functionally tested, guaranteed to meet OEM performance specifications!

Every LuK flywheel is 100% functionally tested to meet OEM performance specifications. These clutch replacement parts can be used for various models of Car, Truck, SUV & Van, Motorcycles & Scooters as well as ATVs & UTVs. LuK engineers have developed solid flywheel replacements for some OE dual-mass applications. \n\nResurfaced flywheels may be machined beyond their usable life - a critical flaw that would not be evident until after the clutch has been installed. Over-machining removes metal needed to absorb heat, impairing the flywheel’s heat sink capacity and shortening clutch service life. Improper machining can also cause interference, no release and slipping problems.\n\nPairing your new LuK RepSet with a new LuK flywheel is a smart, cost-effective alternative to resurfacing. Easy, one-step ordering ensures that you get the right components for your application and the right fit for hassle-free installation. Don’t take chances with questionable parts. Install a new, original-equipment quality LuK flywheel and maximize the performance and service life of your clutch. \n\nPremium grade materials are used for superior-quality friction surfaces, along with excellent heat-absorption capacity. This perfectly balanced OEM flywheel is backed by LuK and the industry’s most trusted warranty.\n\nPlease check for the correct build, year and model before buying.

This Flywheel was used on a Hotrod project, the engine is a 1963 Chevrolet pickup 283 with a 1959 El Camino crankshaft and the clutch set is a stock size 11" out of a 1987 Astro van that had a Borg Warner T5 transmission. When I looked up the application for the flywheel purchase I used a 1969 Chevrolet 350 out of a full size car I think it was an Impala but could have been a Caprice or a Biscayne I don't remember but they are all the same for what I was doing. My research paid off, the flywheel fit.I write this review in detail because I know I'm not the only one to mess with small block Chevys and I want to pass off anything to make your search and purchase easier. The flywheel works as it should but it should be mentioned that I am no Small Block Chevy expert (but I have been turning wrenches for well over 30 years on literally 100s of cars so this wasn't my first clutch job). Here is my experience The flywheel is/was super tight sliding over the crankshaft snout so much so i used the mounting bolts to carefully (and evenly) drive it down which still doesn't seem right but it is firmly seated and it didn't break. Now if you are wondering the answer is no, there wasn't grease or grime on the crank making it fatter or something odd like rust or grime, I know I checked it questioning it myself and even cleaned it with some sand paper until it was shiny. Anyways Here is my final assessment it seems like the flywheel should have been machined .001 to .002 or so larger to fit easily on but still have little to no movement but as I sort of said above my experience with manual transmissions on GM products is very limited so this might be normal but I question it and I saw in another comment before I bought this that someone had the same experience. My point is it fit, I would imagine it and the crankshaft are the exact same size. So it fits but it is super tight and when it comes off in the hopefully distant future I am sure I will me cursing profusely using expletives that my marine father would have cringed at.Anyways I wanted to mention that to anyone buying the flywheel. It appears to have worked as intended. Unfortunately I am not ready yet to start the engine so I can't tell you my experience beyond mounting it.I should mention the machining looked good, there are I believe 3 different clutch mounting patterns drilled into the flywheel. I did not measure them to tell you what size the three patterns were all I did was line up my pressure plate and bolted it down, the holes I used were tapped for ⅜-16 thread and all were smooth and burr free. I recommend following bolt torques and using thread locker on the flywheel bolts and the pressure plate bolts. I believe the flywheel is made in China unfortunately I do not have the box in front of me to double-check it but I'm almost positive that is what it said on the box.

I would strongly recommend not going with this product. I was skeptical when I read the one bad review before because I have used Luk flywheels before, thinking that maybe it was a one time thing. However when I went to put it on it wasn't even close to fitting and all the same specifications as the flywheel I got from a local parts store. To make matters worse I ordered it and had to leave on military duty so about thirty days had passed and filed for a refund which was denied due to the number of days from the company. Strongly dissatisfied and wish there was a way I could give this no stars and recommend to take this product off amazon completely

LUK has always been good quality but this made in China flywheel will not even fit. The center hub of this LFW101 flywheel is machined wrong, 0.02" too small to fit on crankshaft. Application fits most GM internally balanced engines from 1962 to 1986, this flywheel should fit L6 or V8 that have a 11 or 12 inch clutch, fitment for a part this common should not have had any issues, quality control is lacking.
