unlike most protection of this type the chain here super thick all my old ones broke so easily did not feel too safe with them i feel super safe with this thank you

Never been disappointed by Schlage. Excellent construction and you can tell unless they get a nice pair of bolt cutters in there they aren't snapping this chain.

The end of the chain barely fits into the slide - the metal is cheap. I was surprised Schlage has such a cheesy product. I'm not using it.

Does the job, could be a little more robust, get what you pay for made in China. The screws supplied are useless, need bigger and better.

Pretty solid. Don’t make this your only lock and make sure that the gap between the door isn’t big enough for someone’s hand to unlatch the lock
