If gives you the flexibility with the bottom screw so that you don't have to have exact measurements when you drill. The mechanism slides up and down so you have a half inch of play in case you mess up, it will still install perfect. Dead bolt and door handle works flawlessly. Comes with many adapter's so you can replace a variety of older locks. If I knew it was this easy, I would have bought this years ago. I would give 10 stars if I could.

I used this to replace a broken older lock set on my front door. It was a bit difficult to install but looks nice and works well.

I bought this to replace an existing same format lockset. I Measured carefully. The holes all lined up, but the rectangles at the top and bottom of the new set didn't line up with the old...leaving patching and painting to be done. Love the color and the look. Locksmith installed it and fiddled with it as best he could. I don't what else I could have done to have avoided this. So be prepared to possible paint or return

We ordered 4 of these for our new french doors. They look very expensive and are sturdy. I would definitelyorder agin, no regrets. We have gotten lots of compliments.

Works great. My wife is bed bound and this allows her to unlock the door for friends to come in and visit. Works well with code also. Plus, I get a notification on my phone whenever the lock status changes, and if I need to I can let EMS in if she needs help.

We were under the impression that all door handles have a universal standard holes for the mounting of the handle.It did not. Very disappointing

Arrived in good time. All pieces in excellent shape. good instructions to install. Finish looks great. I hope they last as long as our last Schlage handelset.
