What was supposed to be a simple spark plug change on my BMW M5 turned into a nightmare when 8/8 ignition coil boots tore off in the depths of the head on my S63. I spent ~8 hours trying to dig these suckers out of my engine without scoring my valve covers to no avail. I was skeptical and desparate when I found this tool so I did not bawk at the price. My advice is to get this before you need it to save yourseld the headache. The ease of use and effectiveness of this product make it well worth the cost. As soon as the tool arrived, I had the stuck boots out and new plugs in within the hour. This tool turned my nightmare into more miles & more smiles. I am an engineer by trade and I'm a sucker for innovative tools. This is one of those tools. It is a must have for spark ignition mechanics and DIY types alike.

This tool works great. Had the broken boot out in seconds. Good tool to have when have older ford trucks.

This product saved me so much time when it came down to extracting the coil pack boot in the head I don’t usually leave reviews but for this I will this tool is great and is really practical thanks again

I got tired of having to remove spark plug boots in pieced with long needle nose pliers, so i saw this one day and decided to try it. Boy doe sit make a difference, all you do is slide it between the boot and sparkplug and pull up and bam the coil pack boot is now removed. YOU WILL NEED NEW COIL PACK BOOTS IT DOES TEAR IT. however i always sell boots on every tune up for this reason anyway, I highly recommend this product

Work perfectly to cut stuck ignition wire boots off of spark plugs. Keeping it tight around the ceramic

If you've come looking for a solution this is it. It is a little pricey but well worth the investment for the stress trade off. Tried everything I could to get the coil boot off and nothing worked. This thing pulled it off in less then 5 seconds.
