Right out of the package, a plastic piece at the top broke on my first use. Now it comes apart each time I try to use it, so as it still works, it is a hassle and I can't believe how low the quality is for the price I paid.

The metal portion of the stick is fine but the crossbar that slides up and down is plastic! This plastic piece is quite flimsy, and had two spring loaded parts that fall out if you move the crossbar too close to the top of the metal stick. When the crossbar is fully extended it is very wobbly and hard to obtain an accurate height reading! Very disappointed😞
