it's a strap and it works as expected, used different screws to secure the plastic keepers but the ones they sent with it could have worked

There are no instructions on how to put the buckle together and none of the straps are sewn to one side of the buckle like every other battery box strap I've ever bought. After fiddling with it to get the buckle oriented correctly it relied on friction to hold tight and it just wouldn't hold. The straps are so short they barely reached around the standard battery boxes I have. Going to have to buy another brand as these just won't work.

these look like they would certainly last a bit longer in the elements; one problem. they are NOT big enough to reach around a group 24 battery box not to mention the battery box and possibly a placement rails like on the A frame of a trailer. I returned them; too short.

Not sure what type of battery this is for - not for any battery I've ever seen on an RV. The strap usually wraps completely around the box - not this one.I had opened it before taking my RV out of storage and lost the packaging - otherwise I would have returned it.
