Bought this to make a sour cherry crisp with all the extra sour cherries we had and I'm so glad I did! Made the process so much easier and less messy too. Very easy to use and clean. Would definitely recommend. It's a tool you'll only use to take the cherry pits out but a handy thing to have even if just for that.

This is much better than trying to dig out the pits with a paring knife, and you can't beat the price. That said, I frequently had to adjust the plunger to fit through the hole, and the rubber on the bottom portion tore during the first use because the plunger wasn't centered. If you're desperate, give it a try, but don't expect this to be a tool that you pass on to your grandkids.

Overall this product makes it easier to pit cherries and also makes me like cherries better haha! It's easy to clean and is a little messy and can splatter but I find that given!
