Yield from a 75lb liquid cylinder of CO2: 5 to 6 blocks at room temperature. Yield increases at lower ambient temperatures, i.e. @ 41°F approximately 1/3 more blocks may be produced.

It'll collect dry but inefficient for sure. The 3 vents on each side allow WAY WAY too much to sublimate immediately. Even at a low pressure(0-20psi) and everything pre frozen. I mean it's like they tried to do it it the wrong way. One vent at the top to blow out excess when it's full would make sense. Having it leak all the way til it's only slightly packed snow is unacceptably inefficient. Definitely returned for a refund. Absolutely no clue how this has even close to $200 worth of technology or even convenience involved. Let alone the $1200 they ask for it...

It's exactly what it's advertised as. This is the one that was recommended to me by my CO2 supplier. I do do a lot of research on which type to buy, and this is the one that I felt I could trust the most. My only disappointment is in the price. However, they all run about the same. So far, it's working just fine.

This is the best dry ice maker I have ever seen. It is portable so I can use it anywhere, like an airplane, car, monster truck rally, You can use it anywhere you please! It is so useful for those situations where you say "I wish I had dry ice right now". If I could, I would pay two thousand dollars for this contraption. Five stars.
