As most have already written, these are great. 8" length is misleading, the blades are only 3.5", which is actually a good thing because they are shorter, stiffer, thick, and less likely to bend. I applied a little spray lube to help them break-in better.A Pleasant surprise to also find a sheath, a small tape measure, a small glove, and a small box cutter in the box!Watch out for those crafty Chinese...they are finding new ways to take over--one pair of scissors at a time.

Exactly as described and perfect for cutting everything I need to -- from rugs I want to re-use sections of, to the laminate flooring I'm installing and a few of my thick beach towels I'm cutting into hand towels. They are very comfortable in my hand and just perfect for what I need.

I love that they are easy to handle, they are not heavy but yet cut through almost the hardest plastics. Best part is they are pink so my husband won't think they are his.

The scissors came with a protective plastic cover, a testament to their sharpness. They are a little difficult to use for people with small hands. The cutting edge is serrated at the base to ensure a secure grip on the item being cut. While not recommended, it appears the scissors could be used in food preparation. Because the blades are very sharp, handle them with care and do not leave them unattended near infants and small children. I love that in the 21st century, tools come in all colors, allowing them to match a worker's personality. I like pink.

We have to have really sharp scissors in our warehouse and have tried a lot of industrial scissors of all types. These are the best ones we've used, hands down. They don't look heavy duty but they are and they stayed sharp longer than any others. I'm stocking up on these.
