Sky Team is a cooperative game, exclusively for 2 players, where you play a pilot and co-pilot at the controls of an airliner. Your goal is to work together as a team to land your airplane in different airports around the world.
Feel the tension as you play within the cockpit of your plane, watching your descent and brewing a cup of coffee when you need to focus.
By the time the plane reaches the airport, you'll need to clear air traffic, adjust your speed, level your wings, and engage the brakes!
Strategize with your teammate between rounds, but once you roll your dice, trust in each other to carry out your unique responsibilities!

My wife and I love board games, and both of us usually prefer the competitive, cutthroat kind where only one player emerges victorious. Co-op games (where players cooperate to reach a shared goal and win) are not our cup of tea.Nevertheless, we consider this one is a real gem!!!In "Sky Team" you and your partner assume the roles of a pilot and co-pilot preparing to land a plane. You roll dice each round and place them on the board which represents the flight deck. Specific conditions must be satisfied in order to land safely (e.g the plane needs to be stabilised horizontally, the landing gear must be deployed on time, you need to descend at a steady speed, etc.). A lot could go wrong unless you coordinate with your partner efficiently!PROS:* Simple rules (take about 5 minutes to learn)* Each game takes only 15-20 minutes -- great time filler* Lots of airports to choose from (some with extra rules and victory conditions) -- high replay value* Relatively small box -- perfect for travelThe game itself is made from quality materials and feels very durable. Even though the artwork is not anything out of the ordinary, it is nice and enough to keep us immersed in the game, even if it's only 15 minutes!We are very glad to have found this game! While at a first glance the lengthy rule book seems intimidating, the game is fairly simple to learn and understand and it does a great job of increasing the challenge once you’ve gotten the hang of the base game. After you win a few times, there are a whole bunch of alternate destinations that completely shake up the strategy and gameplay which really helps the replay value of this game. Each round is pretty quick so my significant other and I frequently will play 2 games with different destinations and switching roles. The two player board game market is definitely lacking as a whole, but this is a great one.

Me and my partner love playing this game! I was surprised that I enjoy playing this game as much as I do. I was skeptical as it seems like it might be one of the more serious games that tend to lose my interest as we play, but don’t let the theme of the game scare you away. It’s about landing planes, but the rules are simple to master and as you play, you realize it is really more of a game about communication and strategy. There are several airports and different situations provided that scale up in difficulty, so you can play over and over again without it getting monotonous. I understand why it earned the awards it has, super fun!!

We’re enjoying this game a lot more than I expected! It was on my husbands list, and I wasn’t that excited by the description. But, it’s so well set up, the difficulty is well gushed to increase as you go along. There are different elements added that keep it interesting. Love it!

A fantastic co op game for 2.Interesting theme with a gameplay that actually feels connected to the theme.Quick to setup quick to complete (20 minutes at best... Or several minutes if you crash before landing )Also includes multiple small add ons that add more challenges as you go.In short fun.One caveat is the lack of proper organization in the box for small pieces and inserts. But not a big deal considering the low cost.

Okay so me and my wife play this almost weekly and the expansion. The game is tense and teamwork driven, I love it. We do cheat a little and we talk a tiny bit more then the game would allow, but it is a collaborative game, after all. Setup is a little tedious but worth it because you’ll find yourself playing 3-4 times in a row most times. It’s a beautiful game, with awesome art and fun ideas. Would love to see a space version or something where you go to other planets or something. 5/5 would buy again

This game is amazing. We played three rounds in one evening. It requires team work and communication. It is also npt just one game, but a game with many many scenarios of different difficulty levels where the game gains new rules. Easily one of our favorite games.

My son wants to become a pilot and after researching thoroughly I found this to be the best board game aviation themed.My son loves it, and me too. We are playing it every night. Easy rules to understand, easy to set up, quick sessions of playing of about 20 minutes so he doesn’t get bored and keeps high levels of satisfaction. Small enough to be played on a coffee table and excellent value for money.My son and I are working in improving our strategy and learning how to progress on the different levels.
