Not gonna lie, Cushion Lock took a bit to figure out the best way to use it, but when I did, I was hooked. I just purchased the giant roll a couple weeks ago. I don't have the fancy dispenser, but it's not that heavy, so I keep it on a shelf and pull it out when I need it. I just look at it as part of my arm exercises for the day - lolI have an e-commerce business and I ship quite a few products in glass containers. I like the way Cushion Lock stretches and expands to form an immediate good-sized cushion around the product. It also decreases the overall shipping weight of the package compared to other packaging material. I also use a smaller honeycomb packaging wrap and when I use that, the weight of the package is always higher than with Cushion Lock alone. Does it make a huge difference in shipping costs? If you're on the threshold of a price rate bracket and using this packaging gets you in the lower rate, the yes ;)I use it almost daily and I recommend it!

This does a good job protecting fragile items for shipping and can be used relatively sparingly since a single layer can provide a good 0.5" of cushion when pulled taut. It's a more eco-friendly shipping material and provides more protection than the same length of bubble wrap.However, the price is hard to swallow. If they could find a way to offer this for under $0.10 per foot it would be a good value. I think I'll only be able to justify buying this again if it goes on sale, as the price has only continued to climb since I bought my first roll.I don't use this in huge volumes, so I just stand the roll on its side using the cardboard housing it was shipped in and manually rotate it to dispense. If you plan to go through a lot, you will need to figure out a more elegant way to dispense, which may mean buying the similarly overpriced stand.

First time to see this product and use it. Shipped very fragile plates in suitcase on plane. Came through with no issue. Mainly bought for upcoming big move. Should work fine. Since I do not have the holding dispenser, for the wrap I just reached into box with both hands and rotated the roll to get the material out for use. Really works as advertised.

This works well for dispensing Scotch Cushion Lock rolls and the adjustable friction is perfect, but I think it could have been offered at a much lower price point. At nearly $100 it's hard for smaller shippers to justify, but it's also not built to be mounted up under a cabinet like larger volume shippers typically expect. 3M would have done well to find a way to make a version for closer to $35–50 in my opinion, even if it wasn't as sturdy or adjustable.

Expands a lot. Better than expected. Great if you don’t need it to be water proof. Locks onto itself well
