I built some solar screens for my windows on my house in Texas. I wanted to make it so that I could take them down easy to clean the windows and put them back up. i have vinyl windows so I can't use screws or nails to fasten them. I tried many other brands of Velcro and automotive grade double sided tape. during the high heat western sun (can be Easily over 100 degrees) the sticky backing failed and the solar screens fell off the windows. Except for this stuff! It held up to the brutal temperature's all summer long. This stuff can take the heat. Strong durable hold. Great stuff!

The strength is great, and it is very sticky. Once it is set, it holds well, and is not easy to remove. Perfect for gigging and touring pedalboards. Easy to apply and you can rest easy knowing everything will stay in place!

My first experience with these fasteners was back in 2007 when I got my first E-Zpass. I still have the car and have changed that windshield twice now. I however, have not had to change that 13 year old fastener yet! It is still sticky, changed over to new windshield both times just fine. I live in NE where weather goes from 100+ to minus in the winter, but, this tape has held its ground every time! I want to thank EZpass to introducing me to this awesome product! Since then, I have used this product on various settings, indoors and out, in professional and personal setting and have not found a better product to replace this with yet. Amazon knows I have tried! It is a bit pricey given the projects I have used it in as of late where I need 50 feet of this, however, after wasting money on other products that look good on paper, feel good in practice but ultimately fail and I am back to using this 3M product. I do like clear a bit better than black as most often, black really stands out, unless you are dealing with darker tone surfaces.

This is the strongest Velcro I've ever used. It stays bonded thru rain, high heat and bitter cold.

There were only a couple items this didn’t work for. The idea came from a friend of mine because I have a lot of concrete walls in my new space. I have murky old larger paintings and other deco hanging on the wall. If it falls off but the Velcro is still on the wall and the item, just add another stripe.The main thing it didn’t work on was a canvas that I made myself. The material is too soft. So I used some other super secure double-sided tape, still using this, and that is now hung and staying in place too!

These fasteners are strong and hold our wooden boomerang artwork very securely. Not having to put nails in the wall is a huge plus!They are also very easy and quick to use. I highly recommend trying them out before resorting to nails and hammers!

Bought this for general use. My dash cam mount kept separating from the tape in the car in hot weather. I was using 3M VHB tape but to be fair, it's a bit old and should be used up within 2 years. I never had issues with it when it was newer. The dual lock has acrylic adhesive and is a more permanent bond. Since using it, the dash cam has stayed in place, and of course this is much sturdier than Velcro for attaching. As for the price, the cost per foot was considerably less that the 3M brand dual lock. I know they're made by the same company. So, if you need this type of product, I'd recommend this one.

Used regularly for hanging framed canvasses and heavy Artwork - Even use it in my art process -Excellent replacement for nails/screws - Easily installed and removeable from surfaces (using nail-polish remover) - Recommended.

I used this hold down my garage floor mat for my truck and it held better then anything I have used since!! Super strong and worth the money.

I’ve used this several times to hold things in the kitchen, office and throughout the house without any problem. Anything that needs holding without the use of glue!
