Received just what I ordered...The wrong kit, MY FAULT. Discussion with the vender resulted in assistance with correct kit numbers so I can order the correct kit in the future. I appreciate that help. Meanwhile, I can still use these impellers, just have to get a different gasket. Like I said, my fault.Old news is that 17 years ago when I did the first maintenance on my boat generator I called Westerbeke and they gave me the wrong kit numbers when I provided my pumps Westerbeke part number. Been ordering the wrong kit every two years since. Thanks Steve for setting me straight

This kit fits the new style raw water pump on a Westerbeke 21a. The screws & impeller also fit the old style, which may be a Johnson F4. The old pump used a paper gasket rather than an O-ring. This may also fit other pumps. Those little M4-0.7 x 8mm screws are pretty easy to drop into the bilge. It's nice to have two spares in the kit.

I got about 70 hours of run time before this exploded into pieces and ended up in my heat exchanger. Spend the extra $15 and get a westerbeke part.

Update:This impeller spun out on the shaft and had to be replaced a month later. Disappointed. Now my husband wants to stick with genuine westerbeke parts.Original:This is the second identical impeller we purchased. The first one last a little over a year and one blade broke off. Next time we will replace at the annual year service. We always keep a spare on the boat.
