My original thinking with this was I would use an old phone and make some sort of homemade Amazon Echo or something similar. But once I received it I was no impressed. It's simply a big magnifying glass made of really thin, cheap plastic. I couldn't see this being used as anything other than a gag gift or an absolute last resort to make your phone's screen larger (maybe for a child). I'd be embarrassed to give this as a gift to someone, unless it was a joke like "grandpa here ya go - now you can actually see your phone!" But that's it.I would've given it 3 stars, but the asking price for the 14 inch model (which is what I received) is simply outrageous. This is something that is worth $5 - $10 at MOST, hence the 2 stars. I got a great deal on an Amazon Echo instead of having some weird solution like i had originally intended :)

My husband loves this thing and likes to use it to watch videos on his phone. The frame that holds the phone is pretty flimsy, but the magnifying glass works alright. It makes the screen appear bigger which is cool. It's a neat gadget, not the best, but it works. The magnification doesn't totally fill the screen though, so the product pictures are misleading in that sense. However, it's possible that it might if you have a tablet.

I got this magnifier for my husband and he has been very happy with it. It works great and he can see things on his phone so much better. It's also super easy to use and set up. I also think its priced fairly.
