Great remote with a customizable use button.This device connects well and does what its advertised to do. I initially had an issue where it would NOT take photos as a shutter button. I'm using a Samsung NOTE 9 as my primary phone and camera. This camera has a setting where the volume buttons are customizable to control the shutter or the zoom. I didn't know this setting also overrides any remote controls. Now I do and can use this and other remotes to click the shutter or start or stop recording video while the phone is on a tripod. its lightweight case (body) isn't an issue for me. I don't want that extra weight.

If you have to prop your phone up to watch TikTok videos and it's not very sturdy it's much easier to scroll with a remote than to touch the screen and then have to reposition your phone.I have one of the adapters holds my phone up to the eye piece on my telescope. The shutter button on the remote is perfect for taking a photo without touching the phone and moving the telescope.The one drawback I've run into is the volume buttons don't work or i haven't figured out how to use them.

Works great! Good to have. I like with this scrolling remote control, i don’t have to use my hands to scroll, i like that it’s hands free and works great on TikTok with no issues page turning. I like the cool purple color and the size and that it has nice size buttons that i can control making it much more easier to use and handle. I like that it has a camera shutter which is awesome, I like that this works on all my devices. I like the functionality that it has along with the volume that makes this a good product as well. I recommend to try it and have fun with it too. Good quality product and a good value.

I don't know how well this works with Tik Tok. I wanted this to turn pages in my Kindle app, and play/pause in my music and video apps. I wanted to be able to switch between my phone and tablet. Did it work? Well, sort of.Instructions - English only, and pretty small font.Phone (Samsung Galaxy series) -- Paired and re-paired easily.- Camera – button worked well. Up button switched between camera and selfie mode. Down button brought up different modes (photo, video, etc) and the right & left buttons could switch between them.- Kindle app – right and left buttons turned pages. Middle button popped out of the book or back in. An arrow pops up on the screen when you hit a button, but it disappears within a few seconds.- Amazon Music app – no button will pause. Right & left buttons change tracks. Long press right & left changes the volume.- Amazon Prime Video app – Long press right & left buttons to change volume. No pause button. Right & left buttons move back or forward 10 seconds.Tablet (android) -- Paired easily after shutting BT off on my phone.- Kindle app – right & left buttons change the page. Middle button pops you out into where you can leave the book but does not pop you back in.- Audible app – there is no play/pause button. Long press right & left buttons change volume.- Amazon Prime Video app – right button goes to the beginning of the video; left button does nothing. No play/pause. Long press right or left to change volume.TL;DR: I'm not going to say this doesn't work for Tik Tok because I didn't try it. It works great for turning pages in my Kindle app, which is mostly what I wanted it for. It works great for taking pictures (on my phone - I didn't try it on my tablet because I never use that for taking pictures). Play/pause didn't work for Amazon Music, Audible books, or Prime Video apps. I like this form factor, and the price is great. If it worked for play/pause, I'd give it 5 stars and get a second one.

The last small shutter I had I lost in the grass. It was black and of course, that was a lost cause after even half an hour of searching. So I needed something a bit bigger and more obvious this time!This shutter also comes in white color but I thought, what if I use it with gloves in snow and it falls down in the white snow?So this is a great alternative.It almost worked out the box: all I had to do was open my Bluetooth on my iPhone and find it in the list. Then pair it and I was set! It doesn’t use a different app but you can use the camera that comes preinstalled on your iPhone.I haven’t used it with TikTok because I don’t use that app.But as a shutter for photos and videos it is perfect. You cannot zoom in/out with it though, only make a photo or turn the video on and off.It charges via USB-C which is great too.

Works for TikTok only. Doesn't work for anything else on Android. Tried a couple of phones and my book reader (all android based) and the buttons did wonky things. Built specifically for TikTok, and works well for that. Just wish it was also able to do other things. Feels like a missed opportunity.

The remote has a small strap attached at the bottom and comes with a usb charging cable. The front has the main buttons that include a camera shutter. The charging port is on top while the power switch is on the side. The remote functions with both android and Ios devices. Pairing is easy and quick, the page turning has been very convenient. It can also scroll through social media apps such as Tik Tok. Using it for media playback is also handy. The remote is a great tool for media consumption without holding on to your device for extended periods.

I bought this mostly for the remote shutter. It synced well with my Samsung phone. I connected it to my iPad as well. On the iPad the volume buttons, left right and other buttons didn't work as expected. I spent a bit of time trying to make things work but with little success. The remote shutter worked on both the phone and the iPad so I'm happy.
